Subject: WoC: Are Khorne and Slaanesh viable marks to use?

I am just curious as every list I have ever seen people always use Tzeentch and Nurgle, are Khorne and Slaanesh really that bad to use? I know that fluff vs. actuality on the table top are two totally different things but are they that useless? I mean I understand that Khorne only confers frenzy, and in all honesty that isn't that great unless you can get in charging distance and Slaanesh makes you fearless and immune to certain mental attacks. Has anyone ever run a Khorne or Slaanesh primary army, I obviously know that most army lists are a balancing act but you hardly ever see anyone in a list post Khorne or Slaanesh even in a Tzeentch or Nurgle heavy army. So I am just wondering does anyone or has anyone ever used those marks. I guess being a huge fluff fan I really like the Khorne fluff and I think some of the Slaanesh models are pretty cool but can't see how they would work and was wondering if anyone has any advice.

I think Khorne is totally a viable mark on some units. Skullcrushers are still fantastic, and they come with MoK only anyway.
For warriors, it depends on what you want to do with them. I run halberds with MoK, and the amount of hurt they do is unreal. 6 S5 attacks is sure to cause an extra wound or two against most targets. Extra attacks also makes buffs better. I run Lore of Metal on a Tzeentch sorceror, and the +1 to hit buff is ridiculous on 24 S5 attacks. Nurgle will obviously last longer in a prolonged combat, but if you want killing power...
Keep in mind that MoK also grants ItP while you still have frenzy.
MoS is better than it was in the last book since rerolling what it protects against is no longer free, but not by much. It's not totally unreasonable for small skirmishy units that won't be near the BSB and would face panic if they lost two units. I'm actually considering running a small unit of Hellstriders with a Slaanesh sorceror bunkered in them for that reason. Very maneuverable, and they're not going to run if they take some amount of fire short of full on guns blazing. I don't really think it's worth it on your main blocks.

Ok ....I was just wondering but it is nice to know that Khorne is a usable mark. Now to start messing with army lists I think I'm gonna work up a MoN/MoK list and see how that works ...playing a Lizard army this weekend.

I've been seeing MoK clean up, though I don't personally play WoC, I've seen them played quite a few times. I think MoS is ok when run in small units like hellstriders, but for you blocks like most the previous posters have said.
