Hello all, I am about to begin the construction/painting of my second Warhound Titan and I would like to make this one the one that I keep for myself (previously sold the other one)

In keeping with the theme of my Black Templars army, I would like to paint my Titan as being one that was requisitioned to the Templars. My dilemma is that I am having the hardest time finding quality source materials.

Does anyone have any Black Templar warhounds, or even Reaver Titans that they could share some pictures of? I have a rough idea of what I would like to do, but I'd love some pictures to give my ideas some more cohesion.

Thanks Dakka

Find a titan legion scheme you like, then just paint a large part of it black, paint the chapter icon and some scripture on it maybe?

Unhealthy Competition With Other Legions

Probably a lack of resources because it's usually not the case, Titans belong to a Titan legion and from what I understand of the fluff standards it would be pretty odd for a Titan to "belong" to a marine chapter.

I am currently building a Warhound to march with my Sons of Horus and using the Legio Mortis colors, which are close to Templars, but that Legio is all but gone as they were devoted by the fabricator general to Horus and the Legio sided with the traitors.

"You are like a son and together we have all but conquered the galaxy. Now the time has come for me to retire to Terra. My work as a soldier is done and now passes to you for I have great tasks to perform in my earthly sanctum. I name you Warmaster and from this day forth all of my armies and generals shall take orders from you as if the words came from mine own mouth. But words of caution I have for you for your brother Primarchs are strong of will, of thought and of action.

Remember that titans are never requisitioned. They are the exclusive units of a Titan Order. They may adopt elements into their individual heraldry appropriate to their history though. I'd keep Templar iconography to a minimum, but perhaps include it in banner design.

I understand the lore aspect behind it....this is strictly a rule of cool issue and about making it fit with the rest of my army.
