Just a test to see what people think for my plague zombies, just starting a nurgle themed army as bit of change to my usual space marines.
Had to use my iPad for pics as PC in bits ATM but will get some better ones up ASAP
Really would like some constructive feedback before I finish rest

I think something could be done to balance out the flak armour and the rest of the model because as of right now the contrast is pretty large.
Other than that, the model looks really good, I especially love the "thriller" look he has going there with his arms
How did you make those zombie hands? They are so cool!

Awesome model - conveys the jerky unnatural movement of a zombie perfectly!
Out of curiosity is the head also from the mantic Zombies?

Your timing is excellent! Thank you very much for the inspiration!
I was looking for a good way to make some plague zombies. I wasn't sure about using Mantic bits until I saw your pictures and read this blog.
I agree that the GW zombie bits are way too big (especially the hands).
Will you make any non-Cadian IG zombies? I think that I want about 40 zombies with only a third of them as former Cadians from my IG regiment. The other 2/3 should be former imperial citizens, workers, priests, tech priests, etc.
I also picked up a box of Mantic ghouls to see how they fit in.
Have you considered any Wargames Factory zombies?

Awesome!
Someone else mentioned that the Wargames Factory zombie bits may be too modern and too small.
I'm not sure how I want to proceed other than making some Cadians after your example. However, I know I want zombie Imperial citizens, clergy, technicians, and maybe even a zombie Inquisitor and henchmen. Zombie Eldar also has a bit of an appeal but I don't own any Eldar models.
Mantic just produced zombie versions of their Corporation Sci-Fi infantry (in a box of 35 models).
Hmm...what about a zombie Space Marine?

Like the zombies , I think the parts you used look pretty effective.
I did a few zombies recently , here - http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/518012.page
and now you mention it the GW Zombie hands do look pretty bad , luckily I'm gonna copy your route for the next batch !! :-)
