Preparing a list to fight in a tournament. Pure Sisters of Battle. Only a few books for forge world are allowed. Mostly things to boost AA capabilities of all armies.I want something fun and fierce. I only want a single exorcist as it will be the center piece of the army painting wise. Tell me what you think

Basic idea is for the retributors to form a solid fire base with the exorcist. The retributors with the quad gun get jacobus for FnP and the +1 to any faith attempt. The rest of the army rushes forward and kills everything in their path.

You're going to need some plan for dealing with Flyers. One Quad is probably not it. And that is a LOT of BSS.

If you're going BSS heavy and FW, why not Repressors?

Just seems like pretty low damage dealing potential for 1850.

I don't have any repressers or I would. As for flyers, I am hoping that Tons of Forge world AA will discourage anyone bringing flyers. You can proxy at this torunament, b ut seeing as how I am using storm bolters for a heavy ret squad, I don't want to push it by saying repressors everywhere.

I'm guessing you don't have anything you could use as a 2nd excorcist? It would take away the need for Storm Bolter Retributors, and in any case would be more effective against the stuff your list might be a little hard up against (vehicles). Only 2 melta squads and a single excorcist at 1850 is not really enough to handle something like, say, battlewagon rush. You'll get smashed apart.

Incidentally, a 2nd excorcist is marginally better AA than more retributors, when it hits.

I would drop the immolators on the dominion squads, personally, to give myself room for the above suggestion. Those guys cost twice a rhino but die just as fast whilst looking like more important targets.

The retributors and jacobus are out cause they produce to much of a target. To replace this, I added combi melta to each BSS to make them more threatening to all targets. Exorcists are just nasty. Tell me what you think

A represser is a rhino with a dozer blade, and special shooting rules for bolters. And worth it.

Damn....68 power armored bodies on the field.
Thats a lot to chew through.
I'd look to make sure your AA is up to snuff, and that you wont be stuck in a mire if your rhinos get torn up early. Late game mobility is key after all!

Don't forget the heavy flamer on the repressor. I just dont have the repressors to do it or I would.
