My question is what is peoples thoughts on sueing for medical malpractice? I feel that there is certainly situations where it's abused, but sometimes it's necessary.

Everything you say can and will be used against you. Any discussions you outside of those with your counsel are potentially subject to being used.

Not everyone is going to get this but it's expected.

As an American doctor once told me years ago, they pay insurance for a reason. Don't post anything else that may prejudice your case and consult an attorney that deals with medical malpractice.

Texas isn't a perfect model, but they've led the charge on the issue and opened the door for it. The $250,000 cap is a bit low in my eyes. There are definitely cases where more should be provided.

Yes, I think you definitely should sue for medical malpractice. Your story sounds pretty cut & dry to me.

But first I think you should sign a petition showing that you do not support tort reforms.

And I normally don't agree with attorneys that don't recommend attorneys but in this case recommending an attorney from this non-recommending attorney is the right recommendation.
