LD 8 isn't great for a wizard on death, I reckon unless your scouting him shadow would serve you better

If you're going to take a level 4 death, it will work well. But, you need a stubborn beastlord in the unit. That way, the Leech goes up from a LD9, to LD 10. And that makes a large difference.

To that end, drop the second bestigor unit, get more chaff and the beastlord.

Yes I agree that the leadership 9 overall isn't that great but, i have tried the more chaff drops approach with only two combat blocks and find that it is...lacking

I like the 3rd combat unit but I agree that I do need a boost to the Leadership from the Beastlord (however personally I don't like the Stubborn hat) so may look at trimming things down but what?

I could include a Minobus (although a small one)

All you really need is two drops for combat, as if you play them right you shouldn't need any more. The chaff keeps you on top of the game and makes sure you get the combats you want when you want. The priority for chaff is 4 minimal raider units, 2 harpies, 2 tuskgor chariots, 2 lone razorgor.

After that, you can add what you need.

The minobus only needs 3 models. The front rank is 2 1+ armour characters and a 2+. The minos themselves should take great weapons.

Be interested to see how the 2 units of bestigors work for you. Your GBS is a little fighty not to have Lore of Beasts or Shadow, with Death the hagtree fetish works well as caress and fate are to wound spells even if not on the to wound chart they do work in conjunction with hagtree as it only says to wound rolls not on the to wound chart. I'd try and get another level 1 to park around the stone, maybe give them Chalice of Dark Rain. Personally I'm a fan of single razorgor but may not be ideal in your meta. Overall looks good, why not take a flaming banner on the 2nd bestigor unit?

Solo Razorgor is not for me mainly due to the fact that I have never found a suitable model/conversion that I like the look of and want to paint (which is a huge deal for me)
