In other words, could you please make the bare minimum effort to look at the rules first and give some explanation as to why you are asking the question before expecting others to spend their time answering your question?


Edit: Sorry, not trying to come across as overly harsh (and I realize I probably do). What I was trying to point out is that this forum is not simply for people to ask questions of others to look up for them. This is a rules discussion forum, so those who create a thread should at the bare minimum have researched their question first and have some general reason for ambiguity that they'd like to discuss.

Just simply posting stuff like: 'Hey, can a vehicle deep strike? I think it can, but I just want to be sure.'

Isn't acceptable, because just imagine if everyone did that!

i kinda assumed that people wouldn't ask unless they have checked and looked and considered. I'm asking as i've i can't think of an instance where i've seen it done. Perhaps for some reasons i've missed. I miss words in blocks of text sometimes. Fully reasoning i would like to put a hearld of nurgle into a nurgle pack as a tarpit, speed bump and counter charge unit with beasts. With Locus of Fecundity, book of true names and If he gets Miasma of pestilence all the better, Considering Locus of Virulence with a ton of attack seems good too however these are nurglings and this is getting points heavy.

But hey...


IC rules page 39: gives no restrictions on the type of unit that can be joined.

Swarm Rules page 43: gives no restrictions to IC joining them

Unit types pages 44-48 Not a given as a special unit type.


Edit: its fine i understand. fourm and stuff gotta keep it good.

Actually ICs cannot join units with a Vehicle type, even in a squadron, but nothing seems to restrict them from joining swarms that I can find.

That is the only restriction I could find about my libby with perfect timing joining hyperios air defence launchers.
