i just noticed that the taus symbol is VERY similar to the marathon symbol
anyone else noticed it?

I think you are reaching - as the t'au symbol came out before HALO:Combat Evolved..

And again, because there are only so many ways that you can use a circle within a circle motif without looking like something else that someone else has already done in the several thousand years since humans developed the ability to write crap down.

Bungie's game Marathon was released in 1994. He isnt referring to Halo. The Tau were released in 2001 I think?

In any case, yes ive noticed this before OP. But as Chromedog says, there are always going to be coincidences like this that crop up. It doesnt necessarily mean they are plagiarised.

The only google reference I got to marathon and logo was for Halo.

marathon is an older game that is referenced heavily in halo, but i guess you guys are right in that it is just a coincidence
