Hey dude, i'm amazed/saddened thay you never got to see it/play on it irl.
Yeah, it's sponge stippled on artex mixed with pva and blue paint. This is all done quite wet.
Couple of light drybrushes once it's dry.
Then layer of Vallejo water effects or three for the shine.
Pretty cool huh, bit gutted to see her go.

I've never heard of that thing. Nor have I seen it. I think it's scratch built. I see Predator bits and City terrain that wasn't yet invented when Inquisitor was released.
And old chaos shield icons and stuff... I'm almost possitive it's just a scratch built piece. It's nice looking thought!

Nah, it's definitely GW and not a scratchbuild as I have 2 identical. It's moulded from a hard styrene type material.
It was a single piece cast. The preadator bits crates and shields are moulded into the piece.

Looks like the cities of death bits are later additions from the standard cod kits.
I just don't know whether it was available for general release, limited or part of an instore demo kit or what?
The pic in the link is the only other one I can find and never seen one for sale, so as to the value??? Who knows? Automatically Appended Next Post: Okay, found it!
It was in White Dwarf 257 and seems to have been released alongside Inquisitor under the name ' STC Colonial Habitat' rrp £25.00 at the time.
Looks like it was general release but who knows for how long and how many they made?
