My Grey Knight Paladins completed. The shoulders are Scibor SF line.I didn't have Gk Termie arms so I used regular ones.

I like them!

Nice OSL job on the eyes.

However I think the armour could use some more definition, maybe some more highlights, or deeper shadows. That's just my opinion though.

The bases are nice as well, but again, they could do with maybe a bit of static grass, or some different textured rocks perhaps.

Yes ditto for this request please. I'd love to be able to paint lines this thin. Is it some sort of special brush with one bristle?

Thanks for all the comments guys. There are a few spots that I can definitely clean up on, but over all I'm satisfied with the shading as my table top quality. And your right , a little static grass will break up the bases.

The lightning effect was done using a 000 WN series 7 brush. The trick is to use Vallejo Model air white paint which is thin enough for airbrushing but I added a drop of glaze medium to give it a little transparency.

I did the blades using the usual power weapon airbrush technique but instead of blue, black and white I used shades of silver (gun/silver/ aluminium) then I glazed it with midnight blue ghost tint. Same for the eyes, it made the OSL smoother.

Thanks , the hardest part was converting the chests. Irony had the fronts of the gk termie chests. The backs were from regualr terminator kits. So I had to slice the overhanging part off, reduce the height and sculpt the psychic hood parts from greenstuff.

I do like the look of the power fists, they seem like they would make sense on a Grey knight as a backup weapon.

Great job. I think my problem with most Grey Knights is that people dont break up the solid grey colors well. You have really done well with your pallet choices though

I never liked the wrist mounted storm bolters on grey knights, however your use of power fists really balances out the over weighted look of them, nice job sir!
