I backed at $280 for the 6x4 terrain early bird, now, forgive me this is a long thread and I couldnt find anything on the first 10-20 pages or so:

Is the terrain "modular"? I.E. do you need to glue it together to use it or do those clip things allow you to reassemble on the fly?

It is modular and can be reassembled on the fly.

Today has been a mega day guys, thank you so much!

We are very close to locking the Rebs Faction Booster in so we thought it was best to give you a little more info on the next goal - so here we go!

And if that wasn't enough, there's even two new Stretch Goals at the end of the update!
NEXT: $775,000 – Solo Play Rules and A.I. Cards

Solo Play Rules and A.I. Cards are something we’ve been asked for – so here’s Jake to explain more!

“Solo rules are what you need when you want to play a classic 2-player game and only have one player to hand. They are a set of rules that attempt to replicate the decisions your normal opponent would make. Except we all know that you can’t reduce the skill, cunning and silliness of real humans to a simple set of rules in a book. No, we needs cards too.

The solo rules will use a set of cards (we’re calling them an AI deck) as a quick and simple mechanism to generate tactical choices by your imaginary opponent. A card deck allows me to include a lot of sophisticated numerical shenanigans without a lot of rules in your face. Flipping a card for a decision is also a very simple and familiar kind of mechanic that won’t intrude too much into the rest of the game. What the cards have on them is the nifty part.”

If we hit this goal, we will write and publish the rules for solo play and A.I. cards. We will include a FREE digital version of the rules and the cards with your compendium in every pledge!

Not only that but we will print a set of A.I. Cards and make them available to add on to your pledge for $8!

Glad to see stretches starting to pile up so we get some idea of what's in store for us.

I wish the solo cards were getting included, but I don't mind tossing a few more bucks in at this point. Unless they're already included if we're getting a compendium? I would assume that's just the rules getting put in there.

I'm hoping we'll see what the Marauders have in store besides the artillery before the sun sets in my neck of the woods.

Looks like the emails will be going out soon and hopefully things will really start getting crazy.

*sigh* The completionist impulse keeps driving me to increase my pledge. I hope that, after the Marauder booster, the rest of the stretch goals are freebies...

I am assume if there are vehicles/dreadnaught esque monstrous units, 1 of your choice would be free but you would have to pay for the others.

48 hours to go, the reminders will be going out now and we are already edging on $60k for the day. This will be a good 48 hours.

We're just $6k off of the Solo/AI rules already and starting to climb pretty fast. Wont be too long until we have $800k in the bag. Then some more love for my Space Dorfs!

Not to mention complete EU factions at a mere 810k, and a merc people have been clamoring for since this started. I assume it'll be 835k for dorfs/spelfs maybe another merc to 845k and then 870k for the last faction? Then hopefully crazy stuff

While I'm still pledging, the latest update to Dreadball (which shows how the Astarians translated from concept to sculpt... poorly, IMO) has convinced me that there is a great deal of wisdom in waiting to see what things look like before going whole-hog.

I agree, they look fine to me. I haven't seen the concept art, but the models at least look presentable and not horribly misshapen or wildly out of proportion.

Just about doubled my previous pledge. Officially all-in, however I fear last minute stretch goals are going to pry even more money out of me. I should just call them with my credit card number =\

In either case, aren't the Deadzone Asterians going to be largely digital again? But yeah, those look largely fine to me.

They are bald blokes (and bloke-ettes) with pointy ears and TRON-esque armour. The paint job is a bit utilitarian, but the minis look fine compared to the concepts.

I pray the Asterians are of the same quality we've seen for the Enforcers, Rebs and 'rauders so far. Which all look nicely done and very characterful

Or better yet to the level of the really cool looking Werewolves...ogres...whatever they were in the last KS. Sorry, should be asleep by now.

Hah, I haven't been privy to that fun little KS mini-game, I was one of the mad gits in North America who decided to stay up until 5-6am to grab a $140 EB on day one. Sometimes my insomnia comes in handy.

Can someone help me understand how the BOGO works? I am in this with the Strike Team level and am getting most of what I want (yay!) but it looks as though the boosters have some non-basic troop types.

So what I want to know is, how much more economical is it to buy 4 boosters @ $20 per vs. 2 BOGO packages @ $50 in order to get those extra troops. Does that include the original figures as well as the booster expansions?

Everything in this KS is amazing, but some bits I have a hard time wrapping my head around.
