So basically you run in, kill something, run away. I can see this being useful on a solo or a war jack you have a chance of killing, but I don't understand why I hear people say use it on infantry mobs. You run in, kill something, full advance away. Unless you're fighting something particularly slow, what's to stop them from just charging you in the next turn? I mean if you drop a forest between the two or speed debuff on the enemy unit you should be ok, but outside of that I'm just not seeing the point. Do you run hit run then get a meat shield unit like wolves between the two units to block the counter charge?

It just seems like you need the right kind of support for it to work, and the people who praise it never talk about how to support.

You don't use Sprint to avoid getting charged by the infantry (with berserk and reach you should get a large chunk of what will be in range to charge you on most units). You use Sprint to avoid being charged by everything else.

Being countercharged by something you've beaten down or crippled is tolerable. As Chozo said, with reach you can engage and berserk on a whole lot of infantry. It should be easy to kill over half a unit then back off so the only thing in range to charge you back is that same unit that is now far below full strength and probably can't kill your wolf. Those wolves can be very annoying about making two alpha strikes.

Ah, I see wisdom in your words chozo. The infantry usually screens for the nastier stuff in the back.

What about when dealing with thralls? Run in, cut a few down, run out, then charge again or light then up with some ranged shots? I've found woldstalkers pretty handy at killing infantry.

You can also do it like this.. Charge in with one Stalker(riphorn/Feral)... Put primal on it.. kill off as much as you can.. then use another stalker(or gethorix etc) put sprint on it charge in and finish of what was left.. then sprint away.. Now if you oppnent wants to kill the stalker(riphorn/feral) you left behind.. the one that sprinted away will kill what they use to do it with.. In the end they lose all Infantry, +Warjack/beast they used to kill your stalker with.. and you just lose one stalker... You win the trade..

You can also combine this with standing stones... Charge in kill sprint back 6 inches.. get whitin stones, you just have to touch the outside of the triangel.. Active stones and send stalker whitin 8 to safty..

Using Kromac you can also activate Warpath for +3 inch move.. so you can move away 9 inches..

Sprint can also be done as an offencive move charge in kill and move forward.. if there is a wood/obstruction or something to hide behind.. Or move him into melee range with enemy caster.. Your opponent will have to deal with it and if you are lucky he will have to devote so much stuff to gett ridd of it that he cant execute his own offencive plan against the rest of your army... Who on the next turn can sweep in and destroy him..
