A question on having 2 one handed weapons, ex a corvus hammer and a bolt pistol, does it grant an extra attack? In 5th this would only be the case if the last weapon fired was the bolt pistol, I don't see any similar rule for 6th however.

In 5th, that was incorrect.
In 6th its not required either.

As long as neither one are specialist weapons (or they both are) you get an extra attack.

In 5th if I fired a bolter and was charged, would I not have one less attack than if I fired a bolt pistol and had a chainsword in my other hand? I didn't hallucinate that did I?

Back on the relevant topic, there's no rule I missed denying them the extra attack either from being a bike or using the bike mounted weapons? It seems odd that they'd be able to pilot the bike, use a hammer, and flail about with a pistol at the same time.

Never seen someone drive a car with their knees?

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.

You did hallucinate that. The only requirement was to be equipped with them - what you fire has no bearing on how many CC attacks you have.

Autopilot and gyroscopic stabilizers.

I also hear that big bikes like the ones that american police use are fairly good at keeping a line once you've got the momentum up.

Sort of. If you don't do anything crazy they'll go straight all day. Flailing around with a close combat weapon is likely to make you eat dirt though.

Plus, have you seen how wide the SM biker tires are!?!?? Those things can't even turn let alone fall over! :-)

I recall a similar rule although I have never been able to figure out the source of my recollection.

I've become convinced that it must have been part of the experimental assault rules released via White Dwarf some time in the early 2000s.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Possibly, or maybe even 4th or earlier. However from 5th onwards the wording of the extra Attack has always been dependent on the weapons you HAVE, not the weapons you've used. This is why Storm Shields state that the model can NEVER gain the extra Attack, otherwise you could just arm the model with two weapons on top and you'd be away.

Power steering?! Duh, they have power armour and power steering, the emperor built a webway gate, I think he could handle a bike.

I imagine the bike interfaces directly with the Black Carapace, so the Marine can theoretically have both hands free. It's the justification I used when I was kitbashing a GKSS with a Ravenwing battle boc.
