I'm writing a dark heresy campaign at the moment, and wondered if there was a space marine chapter that hates slaanesh that I can look into, other than Grey Knights who hate all Daemons.

cheers in advance

Most any Chapter you come across are going to have a pretty hot head when it comes to chaos of any kind. I don't really think I could pick out one specific chapter that hates specifically Slaaneshi chaos above all else, though if I had to choose, I'd have to say the Black Templars. Their whole 'Crusading Warrior-Monks' feel seems to be particularly prone to religious fervor and stoicism, which clashes with the Slaaneshi tenancy for debauchery and decadent indulgence.

My opinion may be obsolescently old skool, but I don't believe a chapter could really 'hate Slaanesh', they could certainly hate a particular warband or daemon prince and ultimately whatever nameless false god they paid homage too, but very few of its brethren would pollute their minds with such forbidden knowledge of the dark gods as to know the name and the specifics of its ideals. Not without starting down the dark road the Relictors followed (and numerous fallen Inquisitors) have followed.

I've certainly read elements of that mentality in BL fiction. Even trying to understand Chaos and Heresy in some works is considered Heresy.

I second that! Iron Hands hate Slaanesh because they know that flesh is weak and therefore corrupted by temptation..and who loves to tempt most of all?

it's kind of an opposites thing...Machine vs Flesh...just reiterating for effect

and Wrath of Iron is a pretty decent novel..give it a read if you want more info! but Fulgrim DID piss off a few people in his day

Looking forward to the opening of 40k: The Musical

This is a fairly good point to bring up here.

Hate by association.

Cool Cheers everyone, had completely forgotten its heresy to know about specifics of chaos. Think its gonna have to be Grey Knights

Basically, you're not really looking at who hates Slaanesh in particular, but you COULD look into who hates the Emperor's Children as the most obvious Slaanesh followers.
Ultramarines are the perfect example. Did Fulgrim also kill Ferrus Manus, or is that my imagination?

Yep, the two were once friends, IIRC, but once Fulgrim fell to chaos, that definitely changed. Long story short, yeah, Fulgrim chopped off Ferrus' head.

I'd say Iron hands fill the criteria for the OP's question.

This is a signature. It contains words of an important or meaningful nature.
