Still looking at the abilities of various daemon types. Pink horrors seem very unique..and very confusing...outside of the spells I can't see a use for them.
Id like to hear from others on what spells they use and how they run their pink horros

They're cheap troops with psychic powers that can be fielded in a squad of 20. They can pump out a ton of shots and have a 5+ invulnerable save.

The downside is that 2 10x squads are better than 1 20x squad, you can't shoot a psychic power with Overwatch, and a single Deny-the-witch can cancel out a round's worth of shooting from a unit.

Witchfire powers can be used in overwatch.

But yeah, they are good with a herald, giving them essentially d7 strength 6 shots. if you have a 20 man group.

Another good thing about them, is one pink horror, shoot's as many shots as 10. So using the portalglyph and such, you can spawn unit's of 1-6 horrors, all with the shooting of a 10 man unit. This can be really fun.

They are slightly more resillient than bloodletters and daemonettes for scoring (they reroll 1's to save), and are one of 2 troops that can serve well with not charging forward.
So bloodletters and daemonettes claim the enemy's objectives, pink horrors claim objectives in the middle/back, and plaguebearers simply sit in the back claiming.

Really?!!

News to me, any chance of a pg ref as I've clearly missed that!

It's an amalgamation of the rules, overwatch being the only instance when a shooting attack may be used outside the shooting phase, and a witchfire power being considered a shooting attack in all respects in it's own description, means it can be manifested in a phase outside the shooting one

As much as I think they SHOULD be able to do this; I believe that the current FAQ/Errata prevents Psychic Overwatch:

A: Yes, but only in your own Shooting phase. This means that
psychic shooting attacks cannot be made when firing
Overwatch.

Though I don't play daemons my friend described to me that Pink Horrors work best after passing 3 psycic tests before shooting. I don't know if this is true but if it is... Watch out of Eldrad.

A shame, indeed. Perhaps Horrors will get FAQed into having their own special overwatch rule.

I've tried the multiple 10 man squads a couple times, and overall I've actually found that I did far more damage with a pair of 18+Tzherald squads.

Bad dice can really cripple the little squads more so, since you're down to 2-12/S5 shots hitting on 4's without the benefit of re-rolls... Plus, T5 units just laugh at the MSU Horrors who have almost no hope of generating enough dakka to really put a dent in them. (and then end up passing out a pretty much 'free' FnP buff to boot )

At least with the big squads, bad dice don't hurt quite as much, and you'll be all but asured of Prescience re-rolls, along with the likelyhood of S6 to wound most things on 2's.
I've had my 18 strong squad w/Tzherald torrent down 5-man Termie squads, or blast apart most of T5 biker squad. The only things so far that don't give a flying Nurgling's fart about my unit are Deathstar units like Nob Bikers or Pallies...

As for the Overwatch issues...

For now I set-up my units with 3x Lesser Rewards on the Tzherald + 2x Lesser Rewards on the Iridescent Horror + Blasted Standard.
Pretty much garuntees me at least 1 Corrosive Breath reward which then gives me a template weapon for Wall of Death which can auto-activate the banner for a possible 2D3/S5 + 2D6/S4 hits to the first thing that charges me...

Not the greatest by a longshot, but it can be a rude surprise for the unexpecting.

Portal can summon small squads that still pump out a good amount of dakka for their small model count or even a Str 10 AP2 shot

In terms of objective campers, I think Pink Horrors are up there with Plaguebearers at the moment. Stick an objective in a ruin, surround it with Horrors, and giggle at your re-rollable 2+ cover save when going to ground. Offensively Horrors lack, but spamming Bolt of Change is pretty awesome, so the fact that a 10 man unit has a 50/50 chance of grabbing Bolt is great. Honestly, if I'm just looking for objective holders rather than assault troops (in which case I'd spam Daemonettes) then Horrors would be the first unit I'd reach for in the Daemons codex.
