You said people are buying them to gloat about. Did you not? That's hostile. That's calling people that buy them arrogant d-bags. You might as well own it. You said it. Don't play the victim card, man. As I said, some people want a fancy book for their favorite army. No need to call them out, bud. Why are you so hostile?

I said people will be buying them, not so much to gloat about, but purely to say that they have it, I think he was talking about what I said.

I would never buy a LE codex especially being in New Zealand its just too damn expensive if someone wants to buy one good for them your money you buy what you want though to me it's just a waste of money plus usually the normal codex cover art is way better well to me anyway
However if I was in the UK instead of NZ I would immediately buying one as the limited edition codex price in the UK is the exact same bloody price as the normal codex in NZ once you convert the money to the right currency well roughly $10 more but still it's absurd considering the price for the normal codex.
Damn lucky UK people

In granting those who oppose me death I am giving them the mercy of Nurgle.
Releasing my enemies from the bonds of fear and oppression , from the shame of betrayal, I preform a kindness I erase contempt, regret, sorrow, insanity all the burdens of life, embrace death and be free or reject Nurgles gift and be destroyed.

Wow, I don't even...
Lulz aside, I'd totally buy the IG LE codex. It's certainly a lot more but I know what I'm getting and there's really no scam involved.

I find it funny, people say the LE codex is over priced. The entire GW hobby is over priced. Even buying through a discounter it is still over priced.
So people who are thinking they are smarter than others buying through discount, is still paying over priced.
So it's up to the original poster. All you are getting is a different cover, in plastic or plastic sleeve. Also a number 1-2000. Just rememeber the LE Chaos codex, some people had 2 different numbers that came with their codex, so basically this 1-2000 number means bunk.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Is it worth it? To me absolutely yes, Tau are my main army, i love converting, painting and gaming with them. So for me the cost is justified, as i will get a lot of use out of it down the line.
In short, it is the same as everyone else has been saying, it's worth is subjective.
