I finished these kobolds off just a little while ago (my wife painted quite a few of them as well). Since then, she's gotten ahead of me in painting Super Dungeon minis.

I've got some catching up to do- especially with the Von Drak stuff just having shown up.

I've got one view of each Kobold here, but I've got a few more in the Sodapop gallery

Anyway, here they are:

Nice work. I've got to get on my SDE that "Santa" brought the kids this year.

We were once so close to heaven, St. Peter came out and gave us medals; declaring us "The nicest of the damned".

I know the minis look cool, but how's the game?

No madam, 40,000 is the year that this game is set in. Not how much it costs. Though you may have a point. - GW Fulchester

Those are gorgeous. The mix of drastic and subtle shading and highlighting lends itself to the models very well.

I am blown away by the crystals on the spawning point. I might have to practice something like that myself.

The game's pretty great. It is in the style of the old dungeon crawlers from the '90s (like Heroquest or Space Crusade- although it is better balanced than the ones I played). The game moves really fast.

One player plays as the montsers, who come out of spawn points (gantlet style) while the heroes kill monsters, gain loot and try to survive long enough to take on the boss fight.

The core box comes with a bunch of heroes, but only one setup for the monsters (Kobolds and dragons). The expansions do worlds for the monsters (the one that just came out has a vampire boss and a bunch of undead).
