So i currently play eldar but there going to be taking a back seat since im over 2.5k points.

but i cant decide SW or BA there both quite assualty and competitive but im really no sure i already have a rune priest for SW but i like them both equally...

I was just making this decision last month. Went with Space Wolves for a number of reasons. What finally decided for me was playing proxy games. I recommend trying some proxy games of each to see what you like, if possible.

wel lit depends on your play style if you like jacob press- nah im kidding

sw are SUPPOSED to be a CC army. but they do muuuuch better in shooting ( exept for their dumb wolves ) and will win you more games because of their broken i hate sw players.. so cheap, and i never won agenst them, and you will be hated by people too

ba are not so cheap have downsides sure but still fun to play and your opoennet wont rage , have coler stuff in my opinon and are better at cc then damned sw, but due to 6th edition we got nerfed hard for an already advrige army is now below advrige but its still a fun army to play with in my opinon

so if you want to win games and shoot for days go with sw

if you want to have fun and winning doesnt matter to you go ba ( BA has cooler stuff too )

and this is all in my opinon as well its all down to you though and your style

Personally I love both armies as well. But from a painting perspective I think that SW would be a little more fun. Their armor has some deviation. If you're the type that would like to do squad markings etc. However BA have like 10 successor chapters, or you can make your own.

From a playstyle perspective however, I'd choose whatever you feel is very different from the Eldar.

Don't forget, BA get Stormravens, DC, SG, Fast Rhino Chassis', Baal preds, fairly decent Librarians, ASM as troops(that can take meltas + plasma), and DOA.... Plus cheapo devies(but SW get that too).

the MC on a 25mm base "KING" Mephy -sure to induce rage dont let them shoot him and let him hack hack hack them to bits... the fast chasis for preds etc etc is amazing for move and shoot...

finally, a movie I'd actually watch!

Space Wolves are very clearly the better choice. They are super badass Wolf like Space Vikings. Their lore is also 10x more interesting than that of the simple Blood Angels. Leman Russ is also the mightiest warrior, save the Emperor himself who is the only one sho could best him. They also constsntly defy the petty Inquisition, as none can contain their greatness!
