useing the 6th ed rules for daemons and chaos and including their forge world stuff, if khorne, slaanesh, tzeech, and nurgle had this HUGE war with each other, who would come out on top

and then useing the terms in fluff who would win then?

Depends on whose power is strong that day. Originally it was Tzeentch when he had his staff of almighty wizard powers, now it wanes and waxes.

Each and every god, has the potential to win. Khorne, through sheer bloodlust and ferocity. Nurgle, if he finally managed his goal of creating a disease to infect god's, Tzeentch, if he managed to recover his staff. Slaanesh, if he could beguile the other's into fighting each other, and then slaughter the remanent's of the victor.

On the table? I'd say Nurgle would win, rending and AP3 from khorne and slaanesh have no effect on them, they reroll to wound with poison, epidemius would work wonders in that battle, and the GUO, is a good match against other greater daemons with it's poison and instant death weaponry, and access to biomancy.

However, against non-daemons, the other god's would do better as a mono god army. Daemon on daemon, is a rare exception, due to the lack of armour, and armywide invulnerables.

Well, Khorne's the most powerful god at the moment, so I'm going to say Khorne.

But this is all part of Tzeentch's plan, so he actually wins over all.

But then all 4 gods are found to be Alpharius.

Then turns out it's all a plan by the Laughing God, who is disguised as Alpharius.

But then the Deciever has had a hand in all this too, and turns out to be the main player.

Universe then explodes due to sheer mind buggery.

WE = World-Eaters.

Well, daemons don't exactly have blood or skulls (or do they), so Khorne doesn't get anything out of it.

Similarly, I don't think you can disease daemons, so Nurgle doesn't really get anything out of it.

I can't even begin to fathom what Slaanesh gets out of beating up daemons.

Tzeentch by default.

I'd vote Nurgle.
As the conflict raged on and on and on, his power would grow and grow and grow with the piling dead.
Plagues turn those not immediately engaged into zombie thralls, and they turn on their once allies.

I think the slow and steady method would work best in a 4-way battle royale.

Khorne's armies charge into the fray headlong, and get likely ganged up on, so I cannot vote for him.
Slaanesh's followers and demons by fluff, are the weakest as he/she/it is the youngest god.
Tzeentch would likely have picked the battlefield and used some kind of trickery.

Nurgle will outlast the competition!

I'd go for Nurgle though since people die regardless of what happens.

It actually pretty much spells it out in Codex Daemons... their powers wax and wane, but none of them can gain an edge over the others for long. They're also already at war with each other pretty much all the time...

I have to say Tzeentch because it is all part of his master plan

Chaos god of chaos's innate inclination to turn on itself. GW kind of ignores him, but he is still there in the 2nd fluff, RT, and a few other places.

Khorne..... I don't understand how there can possibly be any other answer to this question.

Although I'm sure Nurgle would probably have a good shot due to large number of followers and the ability to outlast. Although its just giving Khorne more to kill.

Tzeentch- he has already planned for his victory and defeat with everyone marching to his tune. Cause lets face it the constant power struggle is part of his infinite plan.

And after the four Dark Gods duke it out, Gork and Mork call dibs on the next fight against the winner.



However, to stay OT, I don't feel any one of the Dark Gods (and their followers/armies) have the power to defeat any of the other 3 on an one on one fight without leaving themselves much to vulnerable to the remaining two. So in a four way cage match, it pretty much becomes everybody looses (which is more or less the overarching theme of 40K anyway).

Possibly Tzeentch, mostly because he would possibly manage to turn Khorne against Nurge, and could possibly wipe out slaneesh on his own.

However in a all out 4 on 4 free for all, possibly Tzeentch even then, as his magic and general being tzeentch would turn the other 3 against eachother while he just appears to be in the fight, and then just blast all 3 armies with magic.

i love how you people are just completly ignoreing the model ones, and if they had their marine armies with them as well
