Ah, yes. I see. Air travel is the farthest thing from my radar, I never even considered. Sorry.

Does anyone have a solution for the lack of stacking clips? Can we 3d print them or something?

A friend of mine glued the 1x1 SWM tiles in 4's onto plywood to make 2x2 tiles (making them essentially the same format as Real of Battle boards). As much as it's nice to have the flexibility of rearranging 1x1's, 2x2's just work better for us on the tabletop. They have more weight, don't shift, you don't need the little jigsaw things, etc. Plus, plywood is more grippy to whatever table is below.

The problem with air travel is always that they're *really* rough with stuff you check. I think you'd need some kind of custom case with tons of protection to safely transport these as a matter of casual/airline travel.
