Greetings once again Dakkadakka! I would like to know if these highlights are looking alright/good so far. I have struggled with highlights in the past but I think I am improving. Cheers.

They're pretty sloppy looking if I'm being honest. The fact that the highlight color isn't an extremely stark contrast but still shows as being blotchy is a real problem. I think you need to take more time making the lines smoother and more even. If it's not an issue of time, try holding the model and your brush differently, a lot of folks steady their painting hand by placing it in the palm of their off hand. Use the edge of your brush as well when it helps instead of the tip.

I appreciate your honesty and tips. I guess its hard for me to get right on the edge where they need to be and keep things steady, And what do you mean by edge of the brush?

Something it took me a while to learn... Sometimes the side of the brush, not the end works WAY better to just touch the edge of a part, and give that even edge highlight.

It does seem like a very steep learning process. The details are just so dang small!.
