Hey guys just a quick question sorry if its been covered but the interceptor rules lets you fire at enemy reinforcements at the end of their movement phase instead of shooting in our turn.. as this rule originally appeared in Planetstrike I presumed it was the same, now upon reading it, it reads to me as you can fire at any unit including footslooging infantry or a tank rolling in from reserve I thought it was exclusive to only deepstriking and flyers... I feel being able to shoot at units entering play from there own table edge on foot or in a ground transport is a bit unfair and "unfluff" like.. just want some other opinions on it to be honest

3 bad rules of 6th edition so far.. this one.. being able to check range at any time, and not being able to assault from reserve. well that's my opinion anyway.. the rest I like a lot tho

That rule is awesome, not bad.

Seeing the world in 6" divisions is a skill, but not a skill with much value

pre-measuring is an awesome rule

Pre-measuring is good. I speeds things up. I rem people asking me if I thought my unit was in range of their guns. Why would I tell you it is your choice to fire or not. They would sometimes sit there 2 to 3 minutes debating.

Cuts down on a lot of arguments. I like to pre-measure how much someone needs to charge, so there's no debate before the charge is rolled.

Interceptor is required to help cut-down on Flyer alpha strike. Which is also why charging from reserves was removed (imagine a potential 18" threat range from a board edge, especially if the unit coming in had fleet! Ouch!)

Lke gribbly genesneakers! I don't like the pre measure rule,, I liked how it added caution to people, still when we play games time isn't a major issue but I can see your point. And for the guy two posts above... like your "binary" solo signature.. haha. Thanks though dakkarites for your opinions on this

by Pre measuring I only mean involving shooting.. not charge ranges or how far your models might be able to move in the moving I mean check the ranges of all your targets before you fire.. I liked how if your where out of range your shot missed
