As i do not have any of the new models yet. Does anyone know if the new broadside in squaty mode can fit behind an ADL

From a dead level view the new broadsides can still get 25% obscured behind an ADL.

somehow i doubt theyre that huge. The Riptide is definitely quite big but the new broadsides? if they got that big of a size increase and didnt get MC status then wtf GW.

Ghaz isn't a MC, and he's pretty huge too He's bigger than some of the MCs out there...

Broadsides should be fine behind an ADL. I don't have the new models and an ADL to compare, but they don't look THAT huge.

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

The new models are slightly larger than a dreadnought and quite a bit beefier than the old broadsides. Larger base as well.

Dreadnought base and a little taller than dreadnought, as said above, and in the riptides size, well squatting it is taller than a trygon. They probably would,

Well the Riptide can get the Coverbonus from ADL. We tested it yesterday in a Workshop, but its depending on the way you build it together.

We had one that was kneeing. a standing riptide wont get the cover, cause its head is high enough to hit a Flyer : /

This sorta shouts modeling for advantage.

Considering it is presented as kneeling in some of GWS official pictures, I'd say its within the realm of reason.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

If they didnt want it built that way then they would not picture it that way. It is definatly modeling for advantage though. I think it looks better that way personally.

I am looking at my new broadsides behind my aegis, and I can confirm that yes you will get cover as long as you try to position them behind the raised part (on the longer sections that that two slits connected by a lower wall). You can probably pass off cover where they are shorter (in between the window slits), but some WAAC guys at tournaments may argue it.

I also have a third party base that's slightly taller than normal, so take that into account.
