So will you guys be putting your old broadsides on larger bases?

Now it finally makes sense why those Forge World broadsides have had 60mm bases. I'm glad I haven't based mine yet.

But I have a couple of the converted crisis suits on 40mm bases as well and I'm wondering if i should change them for 60s too.

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

you dont actually have to, any model can be used as it was originally made (i.e. whatever came in the package). If youre using those tiny tiny Rhinos or sofa seat land speeders from waaaay back in 2nd, those are completely legal. Heck, technically the cardboard dreadnought or drop pod they made are technically a legal models.

Arent there rules saying they still need to be on the most current base? My friend had a crapton of the old Terminators that were on small bases and had since rebased all of them to medium bases claiming he was required to since its a btb rule change.

Even if its not required by rules, i'm really just tempted to do it just for the sake of consistency with the other models. Also an opportunity to do some nice scenic bases too.

The old rhinos aren't actually that much smaller than the current version.

And while I have no idea which drop pod you're talking about, the cardboard dreadnought isn't a model. It's a cardboard stand in for use in a couple of starter set missions from 2nd edition.

The rulebook just requires you to use the base with which the model was supplied. There is no requirement to re-base them to match what they currently come with.

Technically speaking, if anyone attempt to force you to change your bases you can always say that the rules tell you to use whatever base the model came with, and as it can with a 40mm base you are FORBIDDEN from giving it a 60mm one.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.
