I was hoping you'd updated this thread for the new Necron-looking line.

On all of these, is everything but the translucent acrylic MDF?

Are you planning bunkers to go with the barricades?

Indeed we are, if you check the first post you can see photos with the bunkers/concept in them. Check out the facebook/kickstarter page for more images.

Erm, I meant bunkers going with the design of YOUR barricades. Your bunker looks like blocky human stuff.

I like the long section of the new necron wall but the short one I am not crazy about. The bastion is starting to look awesome!

I like the long and short wall for Necrons. No room for an energy field on such a small distance.

The Necron barriers look pretty cool - but appear too blockish to me. They are tapered a bit, like an obelisk, and I think you should go a good bit further with this idea. More taper = less block!

If you get some time drop in for the live show and comment there as well (if you can). I spoke to Austin yesterday and he is listening to all critiques and suggestions no matter how big or small and making considerations. The feedback of the community will help ensure we develop products that the community would like.

Big thanks for doing the live chat and answering my dumb questions!

just dawned on me of having the brilliance of doing a live chat: knowing what bait to lure the community with from the community... quite handy.

15 successful trades as a buyer;

To glimpse the future, you must look to the past and understand it. Names may change, but human behavior repeats itself. Prophetic insight is nothing more than profound hindsight.

It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.

Glad you enjoyed it. As for providing what the community asks for, that is sound business. All too often a company that shall not be named seems to refuse to listen to their customers and shoves their stuff at us. Business works better when the business in question considers their customer's wants and needs and is willing to provide products to meet them

I agree with the obelisk idea.

But regardless, everything is looking great.

I'm not gonna lie, you guys are filling a real needed niche here. My only problems are that I want everything and can't afford it! >.> A thought on what's to come, if we get there, you should create modular linkages between the tower platform systems. Let us make a dual layer map that you can traverse above or below. That'd be pretty spectacular.

Hex Laser Wall with no end caps means ... not slated?
And the rods of the wall should be grey or iron coloured.

We may be able to get different colored rods for assembly, but keep in mind that the terrain will be paintable, so the sky is the limit when you consider personal painting applications

Problem is that if you move the walls angles, paint from the pole will chip off. Grey poles is a good alternative.

There is a little bit of a gap between the rod and the walls, shouldn't be a big issues, any other places that paint could chip would likely not be visible. Nonetheless, if we are able to get different colored rods I am sure they will be offered.

Also, updated the first post, WESTERN TERRAIN IS HERE!

Not sure what Western houses have to do in a kickstarter on SciFi barricades and bunkers, but it's your decision.

Western buildings look decent - what are the prices on them? It wasn't clear on the KS page.

Our goal is to listen to the community and to provide, as best we can, products that they would like. We had significant requests for western terrain (for use in games like Malifaux for example) and because of this we designed some.

The title may be for bunkers and barricades, but lets face it nothing is impossible in 40k, we have the warp and massive psychic powers and orks. It is feasible that for whatever reason there was a fight in a western themed area.

Awesome, we will have several color options to choose from by the end of the kickstarter

Talking with Austin now, until I get a clear answer I will have to say I am not sure (though I imagine something similar to the bunker prices). I will try to update you when I find out otherwise.
