Hey everyone. I might be playing my first test game of Infinity soonish (with proxies, of course) vs a CA player (who, specifically, plays the Shasvastii Infiltration Corps). I've heard the horror stories about the Shasvastii Corps and how they can pretty much flood the battlefield with Tactical Camo blips, so this should be a big learning experience for me. I've come up with a small, all-comers list for your perusal which, hopefully, might also fair well against Shasvastii:

Breakdown of the list:
-The Line Kazaks are there to provide me with some cheap yet effective Line Infantry to back up pretty much everything else in the list.
-The Volunteer is mainly there as a points filler, and as a "cheerleader" (I believe that's the term for a unit that sits and does nothing while other units use his order?) However, against Shasvastii, I can see his chain rifle potentially being useful.
-The Cameronian is there as a heavy hitter. My basic idea is that he'll hide behind terrain before super-jumping forwards to douse enemies with his twin chain rifles, and then, assuming I have the the orders/wounds left, charging in to mop up the survivors. And again, from what I keep hearing, chain rifles are a good thing to have vs. Shasvastii.
-The autocannon Tank Hunter is something I've noticed in practically every Ariadna list. Given the raw explosive power of the autocannon, I can see why.
-I initially included the Loup Garou, firstly because I really like the models, and secondly because I figured that the viral rifle would come in really handy against PanO heavies and the like. I am not quite sure how well he'll do against Shasvastii, though, but I guess the flash grenades might be able to do something.
-The SAS was included, firstly because he looks cool, secondly because, again, he seems to be a staple of every Ariadna list; thirdly because I figure having some infiltrators of my own should come in handy; and fourth, because...chain rifle.
-And the Chasseur was included for more or less the same reasons as the SAS, only with the added bonus of being able to drop antipersonnel mines.

So, there's my proposed list. Any advice you can provide would be really helpful. And in case it helps, I know that my opponent's CA collection consists of:

-2-4 Seed Soldiers, I can't remember the exact number
-1 Malignos
-2 Noctifers (one with spitfire, the other with rocket launcher)
-1 Corax Spec Ops (which could be proxied as anything, really...)
-Ko Dali
-Sheskiin.

You still have 1 SWC point left - it's generally good to spend them all on the extra guns, if you have a choice.

Some factions yes, some no. Ariadna sometimes won't use all theirs and be perfectly fine. My Nomads on the other hand scrape every last .5 SWC.
