Subject: What ML are Inquisitorial Henchmen if any.

Grey Knights, Inquisitorial henchmen "psykers"... do they have a mastery level? I understand when casting their spell they only fire once. But is each psyker in the squad considered its own psyker? are they even "psykers" for the purpose of weapons or abilities that only effect psykers? Any pages of reference or sites of faq and/or errata would be great.
Thanks in advance.

Do they have the "Brotherhood of Psykers" rule? If they do, it's in the brb, around page 40ish. Brotherhood of psykers makes the entire unit count as basically 1 psyker.

They are ml 0, as well there is an FAQ on it. They do not benefit the callexus assassin more then one time

Grey Knights have their own Brotherhood of Psykers rule in their codex. While it does not have any significant differences from the BRB BoP/S, GK players should still refer to their own codex. Automatically Appended Next Post:
There is nothing in the Codex or the FAQ that states the ML of a group of Psyker Henchmen. They do not have Brotherhood of Psykers, but they can cast one Psychic power per turn as a group, rather than each individually. I would treat them as Lvl 1 psykers, especially since, if you roll a Perils when casting, every single Psyker model takes a Perils. So they all just die.
They do not benefit the callexus assassin more then one time
The Callexus--when a Callidus and a Culexus have a baby.
There are actually two (TWO!) questions in the FAQ that cover this very clearly. Read the FAQ.

Those psykers are an interesting unit. For 60 points, your henchmen unit can have a 36" S8, AP1 large blast that fails 50% of the time(psychic roll+DtW), and destroys itself 19% of the time. The rest of the time, it is awesome. lol
If you built the correct army for it, you could have 6 of these units in your army, which would lay down some serious smack against a lot of armies, but their inherent fragility, plus the fact that they're heavily countered by various armies that contain anti-psyker stuff would probably make me stay away from them for the most part. Might not be bad in units of 12, with 6 being psykers, and 6 being death cult assassins or something. (150 pt unit that would still have some good CC utility if your psykers die to perils)
Eldar would wreck them with runes of warding(very common), and a DE crucible of malediction(less common unless you're me) would completely ruin your day if they got in range to use it.
And yeah, they would be considered ML 0 psykers with a special attack.

How would you explain this, then? BRB p66: "Psykers are assumed to be Mastery Level 1 unless it states otherwise in their codex entry." There is no mention of Henchmen Psykers' ML in the GK codex or the GK FAQ; this means they are assumed to be ML1. Why, then, would you say they are ML0?

This will teach me to take other people's word for it. lol
Was told it was in the FAQ, but I just looked it over, and it isn't. So you're right, they would collectively fall under that rule in the BRB.

So the entire squad is considered ML 1? and only buffing the culexus shot by 1 per unit. (for example)
Thank you all for your clarifications.
