On Nimbosa, cramming as many guardsmen into troop carriers as possible.

One of my longtime 40k buddies is having a birthday coming up. He is a huge fan of iron man and has a vanilla marines army. For his birthday, I'm planning on making a space marine iron man for him. I need advice on whether to give him a jump pack or not. I have already green stuffed his arms with those things on top of plasma weapons that you paint blue or green or whatever. and have planned out the pose. I just need to figure out whether to add a jump pack to him.

Just make him a jump infantry with no jump pack. Certain armor marks for Iron Man did have thrusters in places besides his palm and soles, so you if you can model some small booster ports in his shoulders or calves and paint them blue it's pretty obvious he would be a flyer/jump infantry.

Haha .. He does look a little termie like. If he somehow gets wolverine's claws I'm calling copyright infringement as he is clearly a lightning clawed termie smurf marine.
Thor's hammer and captain america's shield could also be viewed as something else ...
