So I just finished a template for the generic starter marine

http://www.dakkadakka.com/core/painter.jsp?i=32

But it doesn't show in the list of general models, only under 'my models'. How can I make it public for everyone?

At least as a regular user, I didn't have that option. I assumed that it went to a mod or lego/yak for approval before being made general. I made three of them in the first few days of the feature and two (almost identical) versions went up right away as public but the third one took a week or two. I assume there is some manual approval component to the process as there are only a dozen or so public ones visible when I last checked.

Correct, yak and I vet them manually and sporadically. The space marine one you've done is too rough around the edges for public listing, especially as the space marine is a flagship model that people will use to evaluate the overall quality of the army painter. You also used a dark model as the base model whereas a lighter paintscheme yields much better quality results.

Thanks, it was a first stab at using it so I went with a popular and familiar model.

I'll try a second go when I have time.

Thanks. It is tough to do well - it takes about 45 mins to get a basic model done, then another 30 mins or so to test and tweak it when done at full quality. The end results are great, but I've simply not had the time yet to add as many as I'd like (all basic troop types for instance).
