Hey guys, this will be a long project between me and a few mates who are all starting heresy armies together. Since the betrayal book and awesome miniatures it was hard to resist, and doing this as a group should prove to be an enjoyable time. Through this blog I aim to post heaps of pictures and updates, as well as bat reps for games etc, even campaigns. Without further ado, here are the armies:

Me (tuiman): Sons of horus
H (warpangels): Emperors Children
A (papewaio) : World Eaters
J: Deathguard

First forgeworld order is on the way so hope to have few updates in the next week or so. As I said this will be a long project but hopefully at the end we will have 4 very cool looking armies. Thanks for viewing and I hope you enjoy whats to come.

This sounds like something I am very interested in. I started my own heresy army a few months ago. I went world eaters but I only have 10 guys so far due to budget cuts Subscribed

Hey, so yea, im doing the Emporers Children from this group, and i have my first 5 Cataphractiis on the way (the order tuiman was talking about) so ill post some pictures when i get them assembled.

Will be following this with an interest. 4 pre-heresy armies should look mighty impressive!

Thanks to everyone else who has commented/subscribed, as warpangels has said. The first order coming in will be 5 cataphractii termninators for his emperors children. Will have an official update coming soon

They've figured out how to run pretty fast in those fancy suits, aye Angel?

I'll be taking on the World Eaters, although probably a pretty small force. Student budgets...

Its all going to be here, just no-one else has ordered anything as yet, but next order should go through around the end of this month, as Fulgrim is meant to come out around then

I have finally got round to doing some painting... but no the cataphractiis are not painted, i just did a test model (as i've never painted purple before i dont want to ruin my nice terminators) it came out looking good but ill let you see for yourselves (i am going to do the eyes either green or blue, havent decided yet also dont have either of those colours haha)
I might try doing a black wash on some parts of him later....
but here he is:





And i also did an Iron Hand, coz why not
once again his eyes will be green but dont have any green paint yet
and i am just finding out that black is hard to get looking right.

You may want to add highlights and inner-armour paints. Like use a lighter purple or something to give the armour more depth. Otherwise, good job!

^Agreed, highlighting makes the models pop, which looks nice along with that, are you going to paint their eyes? I think you should it will make the models look more finished. Other than that, great looking Marines mate! Keep it up!

oh, and are we going to get updates on the other's progress as well?

The photo doesnt show it too well but i did do a drybrush of a lighter purple haha, im no good at highlighting, but ill give it a try i guess
and yeah im going to do the eyes either blue or green, i cant decide right now, and i dont actually have those colours yet

yeah, eventually haha, im the only one that has any pre heresy models at the moment, but when fulgrim comes out im getting some more stuff and Tuiman is starting his Sons of Horus with that order.
So for now you're stuck with me
