I am painting up a WoC army and my main mark on everything is Nurgle! So, I wanted to add to the aged look of my army by doing a Patina effect onto the armour! Like these examples!

But I have zero clue how..I am racking my brains and looking for anything I can on Youtube or Blogs but I have found nothing..

I managed to find this on YouTube after hours of bloody searching...Would this work ontop of dried Copper/Red Gold from Vallejo Liquid Gold line? Because I know getting water on them is one of the worst things you can do.

What would be the best way to highlight afterwards? Something like Runefang Steel or Hashut Copper? Even Runelord Bronze?

Vallejo foul green, diluted down into rubbing alcohol.
Several coats where you take a brush, apply the thinned paint, then dab at a corner of the wet splotch with a dry paper towel. This will let you build it up randomly and get a grainy green verdigris effect on your model.

No issues with the alcohol on the model? Curious if safe to do the method you suggested Derr with the foul green done over a model that had been glazed (and not varnished yet).

Thanks.

One thought would be to basecoat turquoise, and then drybrush on the layers of bronze. IIRC there was an article in WD way back when about someone doing statues that way, sounded interesting, but I've not tried it myself.

It just stuck in my memory because I had thought to re-do some of my old 2nd edition box set mono-pose marines up on pillars using the technique.

Secret Weapon do a pale green pigment powder that's ideal for this.

I'm not entirely sure i know what you are asking....

But here's what I'd do to replicate aged bronze:

Start off with a brown color, paint it up. Dry brush with tin bits or a dark bronze color. heavy dry brush with a series of greens, working my way up to whites, going lighter and lighter pressure on each color. Lastly, whip out the brown and the bronze/tin again, and look at any parts that would get a lot of wear/movement. apply some brown there, heavy bronze on the brown, and then polish it off with a dab of gold dry brush.

I wanted to know, how to replicate a proper verdigris look on some aged copper/bronze on my WoC!

That's a good tutorial. If I didn't feel like my World Eaters probably move around like ADHD kids - only slightly more blood thirsty - I might go back on all the brass I have in that bunch. The arterial spray from chain axes probably "cleans" it a bit too much to go green anyway.
