Thanks for the congratulations I'll keep up improving ..... just wanted to ask (I'm a newbie, I'll do this for a while): Is it good for me to choose my first skill as "Lurching Gait"? I feel terribly slow.

I'd probably recommend Death Grip or Rend Flesh first: these will aid your ability to kill and therefore gain XP; which then snowballs as you buy more skills.

Lurching Gait is definitely worth getting, but I'd suggest ones that help you gain more XP and trying to avoid moving too much in the meantime.

Situation inside Gelasius:

You are inside Gelasius General Hospital, its empty wards criss-crossed with snapped quarantine tape. The building has been quite strongly barricaded. Also here are John89 (54HP), LVH Lew (60HP), Sister Rita (52HP) and Damon Delacroix (56HP).

A portable generator has been set up here. It is running. One of the wards has been decorated with a terracotta statue, a cubist sculpture, a terracotta vase, a European painting, a skull, a clay figurine, a cracked sculpture and a European sculpture.

Somebody has spraypainted a plain white mask onto a wall.

There are three other zombies here, two of them from your horde. You recognise Brains McVee, Azenine and Patient 13.

Since your last turn:

LevelheadedLunatic punched you for 1 damage. (9 minutes ago) ...and again.
LevelheadedLunatic died from an infection. (9 minutes ago)
LevelheadedLunatic rose from the dead as a zombie. (9 minutes ago)

?!? Why?

AWESOME!! I was going to wait until tomorrow to attack Gelasius again, but it is a special occasion when Manchu, the Founder of The Nurglings, is back to spread the message of Barhah!

Does this mean that you've got more time to spend in Malton? Vinetown is crawling with harmanz.

And I just killed Sister Rita.

We are making the humans uncomfortable but they still have hold of many resource buildings and safe houses. We seem to be growing stronger though while their strength is holding steady.

Malton still has too many humans.

Personally, I think - as we sit in MDK's headquarters - we're doing a bit more than contesting Vinetown: we're really throwing out weight around and they're struggling to stop us (so far), which - it would seem - will only improve as the younger Nurglings level up (and now we've got another Vet active it seems too).

Maybe I'm getting cocky, but the point stands...

Good kill! It's always nice to finish off one of the leaders of M.E.R.C.Y. or The Spanish Inquisition. I don't think M.D.K. has a leader, but getting any of their level 43 characters is a plus.

Vinetown is home.

Also, I have beef with Grakmar! It's 4am and I just spent 20mins trying to figure out why I had an extra Nurgling in ny contacts after sorting them out. Damn you sir! On a serious note though, is it okay to have more than one account attached to the same group if they are far enough apart? Be careful it sounds risky to me.

Have you and Fitzz left me all by myself in Chudders to head to Vinetown or are you just switching to Hard Mode like I did?
And I found 3 other active ASI in my contacts but I haven't seen them in so long I don't know if they are in the area. It's:
Bromsie
Morathi Sin
*deleted* - Got an update on this one.
All non Hard Mode and flying the ASI flag. More info please anyone who can shine some light on any of this.

Also if anyone has other alts feel free to post the links and I'll add to my contacts. My Doctor is likely to come across someone eventually. Could we maybe get a list of Alts in the OP? It's tough keeping track of the ASI stuff now it's in the history books for example and I'd like to gather a group with my Doc which would be easier if we had a list.

Over and out.

Haha, probably not that bad an idea tbh. These days I only ever seem to take down barricades and infect survivors.

It is difficult to communicate with humans as a zed. I tried to use the medium of interpretive dance but during the arm waving and kicks I whacked one of the talkies and drew blood. Needless to say, I stopped for lunch after that and never did finish my message.

Don't worry, Vinetown has a superabundance of tasty humans.
