The exertions of the day have numbed your clouded brain. You stand where you were, swaying slightly.
You maul Dawn Davenport for 2 damage. They drop to 25 HP.

You are lying outside the Custard Museum, a small yellow-stone building with stern gargoyles along its guttering. The building has been heavily barricaded - you can see no way to enter.

There is a group of six zombies here. You recognise Azazel the Cat, Stimpleton and Sevatar amongst them.

There are five dead bodies here. You recognise Rockie Piggo, Shaax and M'kar amongst them.
Since your last turn:

Mimi Plastique began to rebuild the barricades, using a chair. (41 minutes ago)
Mimi Plastique killed a zombie with a pistol. (40 minutes ago) ...and another. (38 minutes ago)
Dawn Davenport revivified you with a NecroTech syringe. (37 minutes ago)
Dawn Davenport dumped your body out onto the street. (37 minutes ago)

I think if we are going to hit the Custard, we need to do it in one big wave.

They've taken Gelasius.

Exactly.
I think we're getting too stretched out and incoherent as a group: zombies need to work in groups to be successful and we're not really doing that at the moment. Working as a horde is how we took Shyar and Gelasius in the first place, and our organisation is one of the Nurgling's biggest strengths.
I feel we generally need to start working together again: focussing on certain targets (e.g. Custard) before swaying in valuable harman buildings to recover AP (e.g. Shyar).

I know I'm a noob to all this, but it seems to me everything jumping around town, to get to the latest reported spot, is using all our AP and by the time we are there and break down the barricade, it is all so disjointed we just get picked off, would we not be better off moving around more like a plague of locust?

Squatting with the squigs

we would but that truly isn't zombie-ish enough.

Up until a week ago we were much more concentrated, but holding two buildings and attacking a third kinda split us up.

I think having two attack groups would be good, humans have radio so i think going in one big horde just enables them to mob us as well .

You're largely right, IMHO.

Attacking the latest reported spot etc. is a key part (and personally one of my favourites), but even then we need to focus on certain areas (such as Northern, as opposed to the entirety, of Vinetown) and keep working together. The plague of locusts is the classic (and most effective IMHO) zombie tactic and the key to cracking heavily populated targets.

Basically, both work, but require unification still (no matter how un-zombie it may seem, zombies need to be more organised than the harmans).

At the moment though, we're losing ground and they could probably take Shyar right now if they tried. Which is why I think we need to start getting more cohesive again.

I agree Dave.

Although its just for fun, the hunt is not conducive to the Nurgling's attacking as a coordinated whole.

I confess to having not contacted the rest of Team Rotten except here, which might make it more feasible. As it is I can not see how we could get into Custard/wherever without 6-12 zeds and do enough damage before they activate?

By the way free chicken @ Attrill Bank. Brains McVee and Kay VanRaven already on scene.

Ha! One of those fools revivified me!

When I get up tomorrow morning, would someone be so kind as to infect me, and kick my ass down to about 6-7 HP? I feel like parachuting into Custard or Gelassius and surprising Sister Rita again. I know she loves it when I drop in for a bite.

/terrible puns

I'll announce my intent on their radio and then try to Feeding Drag her into the street before I finish her off, just for additional dramatic flair.

Agreed. I was having more fun when we were focused on a few things. This current hunt or whatever should be over soon enough then we'll get back to storming places.

Three Talkies in Club Atill. The door is open. Baked Monkey at 24 HP.

You are inside Club Atthill, in the near-darkness of the main dancefloor. With the lights out, you can hardly see anything. The doors to the street have been left wide open. Also here are Baked Monkey, BrotherMcBeaner and Crystal Ross.

There is a powered-down radio transmitter here.

I don't know if anyone watched BBCThree's In The Flesh? It was pretty meh but worth a watch and it has potential if they they decide to bring it back for a full series.

I bring it up because Channel 4 are bringing in this French show, in June I think, called The Returned(Les Revenants). It's based on a film of the same name, or They Came Back as it is called in English. It looks like solid drama which just happens to be set during a take on the zombie story. In my experience this tends to be the best way to deal with 'veryfiction' so it could be one to look out for. Thankfully they are going to show it in it's native French with subtitles so it shouldn't really lose anything from it's original format. Anyway, I thought a few folk might be interested but I won't derail us any further, here is the trailer:

And I spanked a harman outside Gel earlier. If anyone successfully proves it with a screen cap they can have the point for their team.

Sorry I might be having a slow day but I have no idea what warmie propaganda is, or a what a warmie is for that matter.

Google suggested that you meant wartime, pushed for a better answer it thought you may believe global warming is a myth. Further interrogation suggests that you may be experiencing genital flushing linked to sexual arrousal. I'm none the wiser.

It's not that we need to be more organized than harmanz; its that the quite low level of organization we require (time/target) is more crucial.

Even small zed teams (4-5) can be very effective if they hang together. That's how RFF runs its various subgroups, for example. I'd recommend that the Kill Teams do this, coordinating either ITT or via PM, while the Fox Hunt is on for maximum enjoyment.

Damn true. I went too far from the others and now I am stuck in front of this factory smashin cades...the barricdes are nearly gone, lights inside.....If I go away from here now I'm afraid that I will arrive when all the action is over.

It doesn't pay to attack a barricade unless there are at least two and better yet three other zombies there with you. If you can synch the time or catch the humans napping, you can get the 'cades down and get inside for some munchies.

Gelasius is at Heavily Barricaded.
