Hey everyone. I'm trying to find some old mordian iron guard imperial guard models, and I was wondering what would be the best way to find them? I havent found much in the swap shop, and not much on ebay either.

I'm on a budget, should I just save up and buy them direct from GW?

Right now GW is looking cheaper than some of the ebay auctions I've browse through, despite being collectors gear they seemed to be priced similarly to cadian squads (admittedly monopose and lacking the same options)

If you need some more variety down the road, victoria lamb makes some great lookalikes that are a bit more customizable for a small increase in price.

If you are not in a hurry you just need to be patient and keep an open eye for them. Keep your swap shop thread updated every four days, do the same on other sites, ask around at the flgs, and people always bite eventually.

Alternatively, just bite the bullet yourself and do gw mailorder. They are not that expensive afterall.

Only problems with mordians is the ugly special weapons, which you need a lot of as the.guard

The Victoria Lamb models are an excellent choice if you're not playing at a GW store. Really good quality and only a slighty upcharge. ALso they're multipart!

+1 for Victoria Lamb's work. If nothing else you can use the heads with Cadians to make a fair hybrid and use the metal Modians for officers/command.

But I found some good deals on ebay so there are out there.

As a collector of the Iron Guard myself, I acquired about 75% of my models through the swap shop here or through Bartertown. I may have bought a small lot on ebay, and I've bought some special weapons and officers I needed direct from GW.

It'll take some time and patience, but make a post in the swap shop and on bartertown, and then search for people selling Iron Guard models. It takes some time, but I easily saved more than 50% doing it, and now have 120+ models.
