I don't know...if they couldn't successfully manage their shop because they were overdependent on one product line, I don't know how I'd feel about giving them money to purchase equipment for a new webcast....

I thought they only closed their webstore since the new trade agreement. Did they close the real store too?

From what they said the store alone (even with non GW mail/internet orders) was not enough to pay the bills
they're not in an urban centre and just don't get enough customers, so the store in gone(going?) and it'll just be the website and Internet sales of Dark Potential

I'll chime in here before too many assumptions are made.
We are actually doing quite well. The store closing was something we were thinking of for quite a while, and GW's changes just sealed the deal on that. The content side of thing (i.e. the videos and the Vault) were (and are) actually doing very well for us, but the store was just a cash drain.
This fundraiser is simply to jump ahead in getting even better equipment and a better studio set up. We could do this without a fundraiser, but it would take at least a year or two of profits to buy everything.
And like I say in the video, the perks are worth their prices, so you aren't just donating for nothing.
Looking forward to more videos from you guys Matt. Love your guys channel and I hope your fundraiser goes well. If you guys still keep in touch with Dan say hi to him from all his boyz we need our boss back.
On a side note have you guys ever thought of doing an apple app for dans waaagh yell. I would defiantly buy it.

They updated their perks, you can now get a Dark Potential starter set or a T-shirt. Has anyone tried Dark Potential? How are the miniaturers and the game system? Getting a starter set shipped for free is abit tempting
