BRB states that Warpcharge points are generated at the beginning of the turn. If a unit of Pink Horrors comes in thru the Portal Glyph, do they have warp charge point(s)?
Same thing with a greater daemon or daemon prince coming in from reserve; would it have warp charge point(s)?

No, the daemons don't exist until the end of the movement phase when they are created, so they can't have any warp charge at the time IMO.
Also do note there is a bigger issue of, technically they don't have psychic powers as those are generated before deployment, so it's worth maybe addressing with your opponent how you will resolve that.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

Neither of these two responses make sense or are satisfactory from a game play perspective. They may be RAW, but I won't be playing it this way in my personal games, because I don't believe either one is RAI.

The first makes plenty of sense, the psykers get their warp charges at the beginning of movement. Horrors are spawned after that, so they miss out on warp charge generation until the next movement phase.

out of curiosity, why even ask the question of whether they will have warp charge points if you refuse to accept the answer that they won't have warp charge points?

As for the warp points - yes the two above are correct...so when they spawn, they get to really do nothing...whether you believe it or not - it is in the rules...that is how they are written....that is how the game is played until FAQed.....
As for the power...I thought that they always had the power...but I was wrong - they generate powers as per a psyker using the change discipline....so...since they are not a part of your army list, they never get the opportunity to generate a power.
Now - you may not think this is right - but first: that is what the rules say. Second - that is one unit out of 4 that you can spawn. If your entire strategy revlves around getting pink horrors - just take the units (since they are the cheap troops) and spawn other stuff. If all you are using is PHs...well...that is on you.

If I've learned anything about this edition, its that the FAQs, when the question finally does get addressed, generally lean toward RAI versus RAW. The problem is, you have to wait 6 months to get a ruling. The most recent CD FAQ was pitiful, addressing issues that I didn't even realize were issues.
My group plays it that the horrors both generate a power and get a warp charge when they spawn. If you play with a group of regulars, discuss it with them and come to a decision.

You mean "to what I assume is RAI".
Your interpretation/assumption of intent is no more valid than someone else's.

I'd definitely play it this way, seems pretty clear that it is the intention to me, much as others will suddenly try to insist that good reading comprehension ignores context.
It did make me wonder, Psykers coming in from normal Reserve have Charge even under RAW correct?

On page 67 of the BRB, there's a sentence that states Psykers coming in from Reserves cannot cast powers that must be cast at 'the start of the Movement phase', so there's a written block for that type of power. But since Warp Charges are generated at the start of the turn would Psykers that are in Reserves generate them? In the case of the Portalglyph, does the unit even exist at the start of the turn? (I don't know the wording)
{Edit: Guess I should have actually read the rest of the thread - Several posters have already covered this}

RAI - Pink Horrors have a warp charge point and psychic power when spawned. It is just the way it is. At least if you want to play me.
I originally asked the question, because I wanted to see if others had the same confusion. But, that is how I will be playing it until GW directly FAQ's it otherwise.

Pretty sure you generate warp charge at the same time as things come from reserve so it would be a "player whose turn it is chooses order" thing.

Agreed the FaQs ALWAYS tell us the RaI, sometimes that is the same as the RaW, sometimes it is the same as what we assumed the RaI to be (and therefore our assumption was correct). If you and your opponent have different interpretations of RaI you have to create a houserule to govern the situation.

So Fling, what happens when they flip flop on the FAQ answers? Which answer was the RAI?

Which ever one wasn't a mistake. Its probably best to assume the most recent, if you don't think that is clear discuss it with your opponent. Or play a game that wasn't designed by GW like you like to

Since this is still going and the OP is determined to come up with a way to get what they want:
If we are talking (supposed) RAI - the Pink Horrors who generate later get the Primis power - as it is the one that is built as a ranged psy attack and can use a variable amount of charges.

I would rule that they do not get a power, as they did not exist at the start of the game and that they start with no warp charge, start of turn they were not there to generate it. Sucks to be my chaos daemons right now.
I would also allow my playgroup to start them with a change power and WC in a friendly game, because that is how they should work. If my group lets me, I will also start them with WC and a power, but if I go to a tournament, I will ask the TO before I play any games, because I do not think they should.

Hmmmm... Personally, I'd just ask in head of time. As much as I concur it is very likely to be RAI, it's not worth getting in an argument over. Ask the Tournament organizer in the tournaments and your local 40k players if they don't mind (as they are worthless if not).
