I recently asked on dakka, what orks can use to pen av 14. One of the suggestions was the deffrolla. How i read it, is that the deffrolla is used when tank shocking. In the rule book it describes a ram as a special tank shock so im assuming it can be used when making a ram. However. I fail to work out a way of intergrating it into calculating the strength of the hit when you measure the distance traveled and av of the front of the tank. At what point do you take into account the s10 d6 hits from the rolla?

Please enlighten me.

Its S10 + d6, d6 times. See the Ork FAQ for further clarification. And don't for get your normal ram as well.

It isn't. You get the ram and you get the hits.

DeathRolla hits are on top of the normal Ram.

Ok so ive found the part in the faq's saying that a deffrolla does indeed inflict d6 s10 hits when ramming. But it says no where that you can make a ram on top if that???

The rulebook says you can ram another vehicle with a Tank.

The Ork battlewagon rules allow a Tank Shock/Ram if the Wagon is equipped with (Something that I forget what it is, but there is an option to add to the battlewagon to let it Tank Shock/Ram).

The Deffrolla has its rules and the Ram has its rules, you use both when Ramming.

Right.

This part you're misremembering. The Battlewagon is a Tank, so it can always Tank Shock and Ram. The upgrade you're thinking of is to allow Trukks to Tank Shock.
