Had a game the other night, decided to try dropping a couple squads of WG in TDA. My opponent said it wasn't allowed because termis can't take a drop pod but in the Space Wolves Codex it says you can give Wolf Guard a drop pod as a dedicated transport but we couldn't find anything to declare whether or not WG in TDA can also use it. I've tried searching but the only mention I could find on here was from about three years ago and I don't know if something's been said somewhere else and I just haven't found it. I'd like to know that this is something I can legally do before I try and use it again.

Space Wolf Terminators are different from terminators from other SM chapters in that they do not Teleport into battle. In other Codex's units of terminators may not purchase a Pod (although I believe an IC in termi armour can join a drop-podding squad).
SW Termi's are not allowed to embark Rhino's or Razorbacks as described on page 61 of the SW Codex, but are allowed in other transports with the restriction that they count as Bulky models (Rulebook, page 35).

It's not only legal but it's a well known army list. Your buddy is a bit over zealous in his wrong ideas.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.

Iirc, the thing about "SW Terminators being different to Terminators of other chapters" only effects the fact they would otherwise be able to deep strike directly with their armour, since all other termies can simply DS. I'm fairly sure they can still take a pod.

Space Pup Termies in Drop Pods is extremely common. It's "Fluff Supported" by the fact ours can't teleport (and why I never take them! ).

So you're 100% legal to put them in a drop pod can kick 'em out the back of a battle barge into combat.

Other SM flavor terminators can't have one, which might be why your opponent thought SW have the same restriction.

Nothing forbids TDA from using a pod if they can get in, like an IC joining a podding squad or the SW units that can take one as a dedicated transport.
