I will be showing you guys how to scratch-build a revenant titan. As it is still WIP, this will be half blog, half tutorial. I will try to update it every day.

You need:
- 1 12" wooden mannequin
- 2-3 packs of milliput (depends how efficient you are)
- plasticard (maybe 1 sheet? I don't know, I'm using spares)

I would recommend planning what pose you want, I'm going for a running, shooting sort of pose.

Sorry about photo quality in advance.

Plasticard cut outs. There is a vane on the back, groin armour, a spike for the head (slightly DE), shoulder pads and chest plates.

Idk what happened with the pictures, I can't see one of them. Here it is again:

EDIT: make sure the armour plates are smooth, and don't stick out at the edges.

Milliputting the chest, cut apart the mannequin, one arm in position. Note that I did not use all of the chest plates (I made too many)

Certainly an original idea, I will be watching with interest.

^^ why thank you

Although I did get the mannequin idea from someone else...

Anyways time for the next update...

I originally decided to have 2 jetpacks, but when I had made them I realised that they were not both going to fit, so I used the better one to be the jet pack.

What you need to do to make the jetpack is to make a frame out of plasticard, and once it has dried, use milliput to make the shape smooth, and more jetpacky. If you wet a finger, or modelling tool, you can smooth the milliput out, and get as much of it as smooth as possible.

To start on the head, put the neck ball in place, but not the actual head. You will sculpt a better head soon... When I get around to it myself

I attached the jetpack with milliput, so that I could smooth it out easily. But don't do this until the jetpack has dried, or you will change the shape of the jetpack (I was a little too eager). You could probably pin it, milliput is drillable.

EDIT: for some reason if I post multiple photos, then they all appear the same, so I will have to do them one at a time

Did some more work over night...

To get the arms and legs in position, I put a little bit of milliput where I wanted them (there is not joint for the legs, as I removed the groin), super glued them int place, and then smoothed abound them once mostly dry. Don't do the entire arm/leg in one go, as it will fall apart...

As I am not using the hands of the mannequin, I put them on its sides, to be the thrusters. I then smoothed it all out with milliput. The shoulder and hip pads were attached with milliput as there wasn't enough room to super glue them.

Finally, you need to model a head around the 'neck' of the mannequin. Mine is milliput. Also, as mine is slightly de, mine has a plasticard spike coming out of it. The only plasticard part left is the back vane.

The mannequin stand is rather useful!

Done a little bit more I'm probably rushing this, but I want to get it done.

Due to my pose, I can only position one leg at a time. I was a bit of an idiot, and chopped up the knee joint. Do not do this. It makes it very tricky make sure the leg is supported, and glue the lower half in place. I forgot to mention that the legs should be put on upside down, like the real revenant titan. I also made some knee pads out of plasticard, and used milliput to put it in place. Make sure that you don't use too much.

Finally, due to the way I've made the jetpack, I realised that I need to do the rocket launcher differently. Mine is a small circle in the middle of the chest, again, made out of milliput.

Also, on the off chance that you guys are actually trying to do this, feel free to ask questions, and post your results! I know this is a tutorial, but anything to prevent me from monologuing would be much appreciated.

EDIT: forgot to mention that I have made a (bad) attempt on a charger thing for the pulsar... Made from plasticard and milliput. I won't say why, as it's terrible

'NOTHER EDIT: you may have noticed that part of her left arm has fallen off... That is what happens when you rush. Don't rush.

Roughly how the model should look - or at least how mine does :)

If I'd done this before, then my current one would look so much better

But I do intend to keep posting all the way up to painting etc...

Oh, btw, sir thank you very much

To be honest, the rest of it should be obrious. Attach the legs and feet. Finish the arms. Make the guns. Add details.

To make the guns, I used a thin wooden skewer (well... 2 of them), cut it to 7cm long, and sculpted a rough shape with milliput. To get it as round as possible, wait till it has hardened, and put the end into a power drill, then sand it.

I also drilled holes in the feet, so I could 'pin' it to the base I made. If you are making one, you will need to do this too, but for your pin, use something of roughly the same thickness as the wooden skewer.

I also added targetters to the arms and gems everywhere. Just little bits of detail, that make everything nice

Wow I love long weekends a whole titan in 4 days! (I started Friday morning, and it's Monday evening) but I think painting 'Rachel' is going to take quite a bit longer...

I forgot to mention that you need to add the vane at the back too. Where you pisition it is up to you, but mine is in the middle of the jetpack. Use a bit of milliput to hold it in place, or if you have a better method, use it

Now... Time to spray her

Well... She's sprayed, but unfortunately, due to having just found out that my French is a week earlier than I had originally expected, I will be spending most of my time revising... Which means it will be a while before I can get to painting her
