I was wondering if anyone knew of any miniatures that explicitly had EXP CCWs or hacking devices. I'm thinking about fiddling a bit with my MilO models to make them fully WYSIWYG but I'm not sure of what I'd be trying to make them look like. Although, considering the AP and DA CCWs on the Magister Knights look exactly the same I'm not sure I really need to worry about making my special swords look particularly different (maybe a different paint job and call that good enough.)

Well, one of the new Rev Moiras is holding a hacking device that might work on a MilO model; it doesn't have that much stuff on it to make it instantly recognisable as Nomad.
Unless you intend to chop the hand off, 'cause then it should be no problem at all

I really don't think you need to worry about CCWs but for what it's worth, these models are equipeed with an EXP CCW =)

Pretty much every knight has a possibility to one too. Jeanne 2.0 has EXP. A chain Rifle monk can have one. O-Yoroi has one. A ninja has one.

No-one knows what the EXP weapon looks like.

Same goes for a Hacking device. No-one knows what it should really look like.


Also WYSIWYG is useless in this game: You won't get every single model with every single configuration from CB. If you just like to convert, go for it. Just make sure the enemy knows what they are looking at.

Actually, many of the hacker models DO have a device of some sort in their hand (except for the "jazz hands" hackers).

Looks to be a box the size of a cigarette packet or so although it could just as easily be on their belts/in a holster (like a cellphone) or even in a pocket. The one illustration in the rulebook makes it look like a large electric toothbrush.
