Ah, okay, don't know why I was thinking shredders...

I have had some success with destroyers as MEQ / light AV killers - I run two squads of five on a semi-regular basis in a footslogger list. They can be good as a counter unit due to the jump pack movement.

Never really been sold on heavy detroyers as they don't synergise with the rest of the squad well.

Problem with all destroyers is that they are hard to keep around.

I ran 5 reg. destroyers w/ Nemesor and a Lord. It worked really well. I just advanced them and the 2 ICs could Look out sir each other. Nem would take any high Ap hit since he had the INV save and the Lord any Reg hit since I gave him 2+ armor. I broke the OL off and assaulted when i got close. Worked really well.

If they could JSJ they would be amazing.
