I haven't seen these guys used on the table in about a year and I'm wondering what sort of lists people take to make them competitive in 6th edition?

I've seen some allied lists (normally with Guard) do quite well but pure Space Wolves seem to have dropped off the radar.

I have a peanut allergy. It's really inconsiderate.

"Long ago in a distant land, I, M'kar, the shape-shifting Master of Chaos, unleashed an unspeakable evil! But a foolish Grey Knight warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in space and flung him into the Warp, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to real-space, and undo the evil that is Chaos!"

I have a friend who just started getting into 40k at the end of last year, because he LOVES the Wolves fluff. He tends to bring a Rune Preist in Terminator Armour, with JottWW, some Wolf Guard Terminators, Grey Hunters and a Land Raider, with two squads of Long Fangs for good measure.

However, he has succumbed and has now invested in an allied Coteaz, along with some Grey Knight Terminators and in Power Armour. So I now make fun of his Wolves for being unable to beat me without help.

The biggest change is the taking of Rune Priests for the BRB Primaris Power that allows re-rolls To-Hit so your Long Fangs have a chance against Flyers. You see more foot lists and Drop Pod lists and a lot more Plasma, but it hasn't really changed much for me from 5th edition.

Normally you take IG allies for better anti-air and some cheap bodies with heavy weapons (since Space Wolves have a shortage of heavy weapons). I haven't seen any value in allying Space Marines with Space Marines myself...

I still run mono-Wolves with an ADL. They've been pretty solid in my meta considering I don't want Guard allies.
