Hi DD, what do you think about my list, I will be going to local tournament next saturday and would like to have some feedback about my list:

Should I swap Inquisitor to Coteaz? Rad grenades are just too good to play without..

I am working on a similar list. I would lose the wraiths, maybe add some scarabs with a spider, and scarabs. Let the GK's handle the up close and personal. That is the beauty of using them as allies. For me, I would work on getting Crow and Purifiers. Every 10 man squad can have 4 Psycannons, and that is some serious fun.

Well, the list is a bit light on troops if you send the GKSS into the enemy's face.

I too like purifiers but I cant stand that crowe is just free killpoint running alone because of no Independent Character USR.. I might add some scarabs but then I would need spyders too, and I like 3 annibarges too much to leave one home.. But if I dropped one wraith squad I could get Coteaz and some acolytes to raven, and those scarabs. But then again I would lose my second hard hitting melee unit... Gotta think about it..

Well, I tried Spyders in my Necron list but they are just too slow to keep up with the Wraiths. Therefore, I prefer Annibarges all the way.

But scarabs alone dont work very well because they will die if you even look at them.. Gotta think about this.

Right.

I'd take 10 men Warrior squads. Small squads tend to die too easily.

I got one question, I am trying to work on a Necron allied with Grey Knights. The list I was working on was similar to this but I lack the flyers. In your opinion do flyers make a huge difference?

@Inmetsu Well yes, on few situations, I think it would be possible to play without flyers if necron troops werent so.. "bad". 24" range, You can outplay that easily. I could play without raven and take dreadknight instead of raven i think.

@wuestenfux Not really, they will sit on flyers for 5 turns, usually on that point there is not too much firepower on the field to wipe them on one shooting phase.

I have been wondering about Crowe, like you say, easy KP. Hmm. I really like the 4 guns per squad. I like wraiths, don't get me wrong, but for the price are they better than Termies?

Wraiths? Totally, multiwound S6 rending 3++, and they cost less.

I understand that. I was thinking of using atleast one Necron flyer because when I run my Grey Knights I end up using Quad-Auto Cannon dreadnoughts along with maybe two Dreadknights depending on what I am fighting. With Necrons I just started with them so i am trying to iron out a solid list I can play because I play with a lot of guys who are not competitive so we build lists that outrageous sometimes.

Well now I came up with list that includes Purifiers instead of strike marines, but now I wont get my sweet prescience and Coteaz :( Unless I want to play elite-Purifers, which I dont because I'm already lacking scoring capability..

I tried them once with zandrekh in ns and obyron, acted quite acceptable. But it was farm list and not fully competetive.

With me I always run Strike squads because I always run them because its my basic unit. Even though I use to run Crowe Purfier spam sort. I have started to use paladins with divination too.

After one test game, I changed by list a bit, I didnt find scarabs be cost efficient, wraiths are just so much better for the points.

Now I just gotta paint all them minis.. And half of them are still on their way to me.. 5 Days till madness!

With my justicar I always gave him a MC Hammer because I was sure he would the last one alive during the first combat usually. I have had in a few games be down to just the Justicar swinging his hammer against Ork bikers. It was pretty funny my friend got real mad when he realized it after he attacked three of my squads. It was pretty funny.
