Hi,

This week a bit of Tau flavor visited my work bench - really good looking model:

and a video for a different perspective:

Very clean work. Looks great man.

Clean, smooth paint job. Excellent.

What deserves special mention is the glow effects. They are PERFECT. They don't bleed out over the whole damn model, they are understated, and they don't ruin the paint job by drawing all the attention to them. Just phenomenal. This should be the poster child for good glow effects.

Very crisp painting. Looks right out of the Codex.

Very nice! I like that your highlights are really subtle, but still apparent. I couldn't have done any better myself.

I guarantee you that I'm not really as smart as the test says:

Agree with everyone else on this; great job.

One tiny nitpick is that you didn't drill the barrles on the plasma rifles

I'm left amazed. I've been trying to figure out how to begin highlighting without it being too obvious and I'm dead certain that I will use this as a guideline because you did it absolutely perfectly.

Oh my god, what a lame person I am ! I did not even realized - my excuse is that this is my first ever Tau and I didn't have much experience with plasma guns hehehehe
