Looking at the RF Facebook page, someone commented on Susan Beasley, and Daniel seemed outraged at it.

I assume trading under her name is fine though.

Its good to see so many people be so vigilant for a community and hobby they care about.

Its also good to see that lies still come back to haunt those that make them - karma in effect I suppose.

I don't know if it means anything but there is nothing on their website stating that RF are not taking orders, so I decided to test out RF's ordering process on their website.

I got as far as clicking on confirm payment via paypal (wasn't going to go further than that!) - it would seem to me that contrary to RF stating otherwise they are still taking orders on their main website.

They said they're offering 'good deals' to customers to move their last stock on their Facebook page, then they're closing. So that's probably why you can still place orders.

I am about one post away from reporting them to childrens standards (the launguage and racial slurs are not appropriate for a non age locked page )

And I have no doubt they will have 8k of stock for some time, despite orders received.

They actually said those orders would be placed only by people they had on a list of previous customers, so I'm calling BS on the statement that they are closing the store. That or they don't know how to do it xD

People ordering should be very, very careful... If he was gonna pull anything a 'pull down the pants sale' done through pm's would be it... I can just imagine the 'oh ya sorry,things are crazy due to the volume of the going out of business sale, it is taking a long time to ship everything... Your order slipped through the cracks please let your 45 day limit on PayPal pass, don't worry I've got you!'...

I'm really disgusted by resin forge, I've never seen a "company" act the way they do. I simply do not understand how people are sticking up for them when they are doing nothing but bad mouthing anyone and everyone.

I mean its great that people in the community are looking out for each other and keeping people that may be harmful to said community in check, but at the same time you have people sticking up for someone that clearly is wrong and it seems crazy to me why anyone would do that.

After seeing some of the things posted on RFs FB I'm surprised they have any customers left at all. I do worry about the whole "closing down" sale. Seems like the perfect time to gather a bunch of money and close up shop.

Yeah, quick "sale", and then "they" are gone. And Dakka will be the fault for it, because people can't get 1+1=2 wright. :/

He preys on people's good nature and willingness to want to believe him. I fell for it for a bit back in '09. Then I finally woke up.
And you and MT11 are right about the "fire sale". It's a perfect time for him to screw over a lot of his waning support. Kind of like a cult.....

Technically, Alpharius accused Mandelbaum of not sending goods. Since Resin Forge is not a limited company (or is it? the matter has never been clarified) Mandelbaum's debts are its debts, so RF owed Alpharius money. This was paid.

There was also the user who started the whole thing by a complaint about a month ago. I don't remember the name, but he was in Canada and had opened a PayPal dispute with RF, and they got him to cancel it, then the second parcel of goods didn't arrive.

After the storm broke, it was "discovered" that the goods had "twice been lost in Chicago by UPS" (how careless! Time for a new courier, perhaps?) but again, this user reported he was ultimately compensated by RF.

From that point of view, no-one on DakkaDakka has accused RF of not supplying the ordered goods, and two people who were in dispute have reported being paid back for their missing orders.

So how many police reports?

Cause I know the first thing I'd do for being insulted or called out on the internet is run to the police.

I'm amazed at the amount of effort being put into spinning the situation, instead of spending less effort posting a handful of pictures (with faces edited out) or providing a registration number to prove that they are a legitimate company.

Did anyone notice his comment about how we were saying that he was arguing with himself, and used his name (Daniel) but now the next day he is saying Daniel quit? I'm confused about his comments, did anyone catch that or did I read it wrong?

In his own grammatically incorrect and roundabout way, rf is insinuating that we here at dakka are saying that RF is Daniel and that Hive Mind is Daniel and that they are arguing with each other to give RF credence that he is being attacked by dakkanauts. That's whatbhes saying, at least that's how a normal person would describe it. Honestly, it is very much classic Mandelbaum. The only thing that sucks is that reporting his page to Facebook doesn't do gak because he's not actually violating things. Though has anyone been able to confirm the age lock of his page? I assume it would be as simple as visiting his page while not logged in. I can't do that easily from my phone.

Dakka says "I" and Hive Mind are both Daniel, so I am arguing with myself. It is correct grammar.

I don't think "I" (Daniel or whoever) is Hive Mind. Hive Mind displayed a pretty colloquial British turn of phrase, IMO.
