What weapon does necron overlord from barge kit have? Is it staff of light, warscythe or what?

Despite what the others are saying, the Staff of Light has its place... however, that's not the question that was actually asked.

The Bargelord model is equipped with a Staff of Scythe - the model is designed to be fielded as either a Staff of Light or a Warscythe.

Also has a resorb...if you want it. Go go magnet arms.

Yeah i'm not sure why you would take anything but a Warscythe

There is one reason to take something else:
You have a Necron Deathstar and 4 other characters who already carry Warscythes

Is there any reason to take the sword or the gauntlet?

Staff of Light I can understand, and the Warscythe is a given, but what about those other 2?

I have put the gauntlet on the Lords who roll with Warrior bricks several times. They are actually ok. Reroll everything in combat + a flamer for 5 points. cant fall off in my opinion

I could actually see the gauntlet doing well against orks....hmmmmmm i know what i wanna try again orks on a few models

Three to four Warscythes could give 10 attacks, enough to 'win' combat against 5 terminators.
But Gauntlet of Fire gives you flamers and melee weapons that reroll in CC.

Yes Warscythes will win against 5 Terminators, and a Marine squad, and destroy a Dreadnought and most any other vehicle they come across. Warscythe is overall the better weapon. But the Gauntlet can do well against hordes, anything else it's nothing special.

Thanks, I also think that warscythe is best choice for lord. The question was asked becouse my friends said that it's staff of light

What is our biggest weakness? 2+ armour
What handles our biggest weakness? Warscythes
