As it stands this list is...1917 points. I couldnt flesh out the marines a bit more and give the champions some upgrades in each squard or just more marines. So what can I do to improve this list dakka! Hit me with your best shot =D

If you want more Dakka, why not change one plasma gun in each marine squad to an Autocannon? More range and definitely better against transports and light-medium armor.

I'd try to fit in a squad of 5 Noise marines, 4 sonic blasters and one blastmaster. That's 137 points, you have 83 (103 with suggested autocannon change), so I suggest dropping some cultists - as I don't see them contributing to your army anyway.

Btw, 30 cultists are not 80pts, it's 130pts.

Per the CSM Codex errata, the base cost of the hellbrute is only 100, NOT 105.

Missile hellbrutes should only be 110 per.

You now have an additional 10 points to play with.

Are you welcome?

Drop the forgefiends and run 3x2 MoN Oblits. I agree on dropping at least one cultist blob and suggest separating the other into two. Also, I am not a fan of the brutes. Drop them and add a lord. Try to not kit out your aspiring champions too much as they have to challenge and can get wiped out by most IC.

I think the points cost on the cultists is a bit light.

The force appears to have a very good heavy support backline with the helbrutes and forgefiends. The CSMs let it down a little, they are set up for a mid ranged gun line or for advance and shooting duties. If it is intended to be primarily a gunline an ADL will increase the survival rate of the marines. Against a good gun line these chaps will be out of range for a turn or so.

The cultists could do with some longer range fire power to let them sit on objectives and hopefully be forgotten about.

The helbrutes are solid units to blunt charges and support the marines in assaults.

At 2K pts it always appears a shame to be missing out on the benefits a double FOC can bring to a force. If you are going for a gun line it could mean smaller CSM units, another lordy thing and 3 units of havocs or a load of predators to give some longer range fire power.

Agree to some extend about kitting out some of the marine units for challenges and combat.

I may have done the cultists wrong lol I've never had to add them up before XD. My army is painted the color of iron warriors and I thought it would be a shame to leave the Flesh out of a list. My thoughts with the list were have the brutes adavance the line the heldrakes flame the scarey things the oblits can help with that same fire mission. If the brutes and oblits hit the same target it should be long before it goes bye bye. I've done a list where there were no helbrutes and I used two big blobs of marines but no one seemed to like that idea lol.

Cultists are 50pts for 10, +4/model, so 30 models would be 130pts.

I like where the list is but in order to fill in those points I would just upgrade the hellbrutes with some heavier fire power and then swap the plasma in two of your CSM units with flamers or meltas, give them close combat weapons and a rhino.

I would play better units than helbrutes
