For any Canadians out there, (and possibly anywhere else) Just wanted to post some gems I found at the local Dollarama.

For $2.00 each for large ones, and $1.25 for slightly smaller, they have tiny birdhouses that with very minimal work can be turned into decent terrain for your FLGS or home tables

I made this water tower with the Smaller house and a few bits

And I made a house out of the larger one

Only took some glue, a raid through my bits box, some plasticard and various Popsicle sticks and dowel rods.

The large house isn't quite done yet, but for about $10.00 I got about 4 Houses, and a water tower to fill the table I'm working on, I'll post a few more when they're done.

So be sure to keep a look out, it's the birdhouse season at local dollar stores all over from what I've seen

I dig it, very good idea. Michael's can be a good, though expensive, place for terrain as well.

Ya Micheal's is great, unfortunately the only one close by is about a 40 minute drive, or hour and a half by bus/subway since there's none left in Toronto. And I think even with the sales (unless it's end of season 80% off deals) you can't beat 2$ xD

aquarium terrain is good, if you can get it on sale.

The USS Orinoco was a Federation Danube-class runabout that was in service with Starfleet in the late 24th century, attached to Deep Space 9. It was outfitted with a sensor pod.

+1
Go take a walk down the aquarium decoration aisle at your local Petsmart and you'll be in heaven.

Diggin' the birdfeeder terrain.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?
