Hello Dakka! After receiving some awesome advice on developing an Eldar list, I thought I would ask for feedback on a potential DA list I am thinking about. I have never played Space Marines, and never really played against them either since my buddy mostly plays Tau and Eldar.

Anyways, this is what I am leaning towards so far, 1750pts:
HQ
Belial with command squad, Dev Banner, Apothecary, one chainfist, the rest all bolters and power fist

Troops
2 x 5 Man DW Terminators with assault cannon and one model with chainfist
1 x 5 man TAC with Plasma Cannon

Elite
1 x 5 man DW Knights

Heavy
2 x Vindicators (no upgrades)
1 x 7 man Devastators with Las Cannon and 3 Missile Launchers (the extra marine bodies would help the Devastators last longer???)

My buddy typically runs:
Hammerheads
Fire Warrior in devilfish
Broadsides
Kroot
Pathfinders
Stealth suits

Basic plan is to soften the transports with the devastators, DWA turn 1 all in one of his flank and split fire to start killing transports and troops as they disembark. Vindicators will probably be out of range for firing so will move them flat out. The DW Knights will be used mainly as countercharge, and to take out targets of opportunity (only if I think I’ll be able to finish the combat within 1 to 2 turns. Having this much on the board so close to his units should provide enough target saturation… At least I hope so What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!

To get it in with the two terminator units. Would you say I need more than 2 units with bolter weapons to make the Dev Banner worth it? (BTW the command squad is a termi command squad, just realized I was not clear about that)

This.

Dropping the banner will allow you to fill out the TAC squad ( or the DEV squad ) with more marines as the TAC combat squad will die very quickly.

Well, I am glad I asked! That kind of changes things quite a bit...

Alright, so changed out the DW Command Squad and made it into an more general DW unit which could hopefully be useful in many situations except possibly against armor. I plan on sticking Belial on this squad, the new list is as follows:

HQ
Belial

Troops
1 x 5 Man DW Terminators with Heavy Flamer, (1) Lighting Claws, (1) Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield, no upgrades for the rest
2 x 5 Man DW Terminators with assault cannon and one model with chainfist
1 x 10 man TAC with Plasma Cannon and Plasma Gun

Elite
1 x 5 man DW Knights

Heavy
2 x Vindicators (no upgrades)
1 x 8 man Devastators with LAS and 3 Missile Launchers

I think it has enough options for heavy armour.

The vindi's,hammer's and ac's should see you right unless you roll horribly. It's a reasonable looking list.

Gracias Pedro for the feedback!

I was also wondering if instead of having that third DW Termy with the Heavy Flamer, I could get a Dread with the Heavy Flamers in a drop pod. That would open enough points to get a couple more space marines in the devastator unit as well as get a basic liby to stick with either the TAC or Devastators, what do you think?
