Okay, my FLGS is having a team tourney next month. The requirements is a shared force organization chart with each teammate having atleast 1 HQ and 2 Troops.

Looks pretty solid. personally i dont like the heavy burst on riptide.

also depending on how shadow sun is used, taking the command link drone and keeping it near the IONtide can help it over charge and blast more. (im not sure if it can help the TFC though)

Ethereals get much better if you spam troops en mass, and with shared force org i don't think it is wise to take him.

i will take back what i said about the HBC as it would be great against FMC.

I think you should invest in shadowsuns command link drone as you basically have no marker light support.
Alternatively, you could have your partner use divination to twinlink your riptides and stuff which could work well. so you don't really need to change your first list much.

Are they making you use the Allies rules? Or is it just considered a single detachment?

Also, Vanilla SM doesn't get Diviniation.

Oh i just saw. Drone controller doesn't effect missile drones on the broadsides you can trim those for something else,

That would be total 10 points free , + the 10 on the sm side, you could get 2 more FW or something

I will consider Riptides only with ion accelerator. HBC is bad, imho. And you definitely should give them Fusion Blaster or plasma (Fusion for sure for the one with VT, i would get it for both of them for some anti-tank). Consider though that with no ML source, Riptides lose a lot of potential. And since in a team tournament MLs have less value, i would consider swapping both Riptides for Crisis. Also, get EWO on Broadsides instead of TL: it's extremely good, and can be effective versus flyers as well. You want them to saturate like hell, so most of the times you won't split fire anyway, you would focus on one unit and annihilate it.

I generally prefer the Ion as well, but the HBC is descent against FMC, and that will be his role throughout the tourney as there are several Nid and CD players in my area.
